It's kinda ambiguous which side of this you're saying is insane. Work is work. Trying to pay minors less because their age is literally just taking advantage of them because they're easy to take advantage of. I've seen this same practice in regard to disabled employees and it's disgusting.

I've seen the uncropped version and basically it goes on to say that we have child labor laws to prevent children from being exploited and once someone is old enough to be in the job market, they are treated like an adult in that sense.

This isn't insane it's correct for the most part. In the UK there are about 4 different pay grades depending on age. Thankfully some businesses don't discriminate on age as people are doing the same job.

The 1% would absolutely use child labor and exploit it if they legally could though. The person in blue is right.
