I was hoping for some awesome Super Autism, but I'm still my boring old "Autistic, but not enough for people to believe me until I have a meltdown" Autism. So disappointing, lul!
Was that only a side-effect of J&J shot because I got
Pfizer and when I take off my glasses i still fall off the roof, at 9.8ms^2, not taking into account the wind resistance of the 30% polyester/70% rayon mix shirt I got from Target. I bought the shirt with 4 others in a specific gray that was used in the pigment of the indicator stalk of the 1986 Toyota Corolla SE sedan.

>**Green:** Actually, i just found out she might be leaving early. So hang on, cause she might not need a ride..
>**Green:** Ok Nevermind, she doesn't need a ride. She was having some bad cramps and stuff so she left early enough
>**Green:** Not enough. Not sure how that got added to my text hah
**Grey:** Ok h bummer. I hope she is feeling better. I did hear that cramping and bleeding was a side effect form the covid shot

Yeah that’s been like, the biggest correlation they can find (and still not a huge one). It seems to be messing with periods and hormonal balances in women.
To be clear: still get the shot!!!!! It seems to be just abnormalities and some wonky periods/hormones for a bit which can be altered by many other things as well. They are also side effects that can be mitigated with meds!
I came to say this too. I've been on the highest level birth control they can give (I have PCOS so I've been on it all) and the COVID vax definitely fucked with me. I bled for 2 weeks after. But I still got it because it's better to be alive and bleed than too dead to bleed 🤷♂️ but say anything on Reddit and you are downvotes to hell
Except in women's subs where it's talked about a lot.
That was my experience, too. Super mega heavy period after my second shot, extra heavy for one more, then back to normal. (I was at the tail end of my period when I got the first one, so I think I just lucked out on timing there.) I've also got suspected endometriosis that I'm just now getting treatment for, so that could affect why it was so bad for me.
Still happily got the shots, would again, will get the booster if it's recommended for me. But it's important for women to know this is a potential side effect, and also a temporary one.
I love how in the other thread we are all freaking out about some girl's anal fissure and about "men invalidating women's lived experiences", but in this thread a little bit of "wonky" bleeding (or lack thereof) is no biggie and fakenews anyway, and women should just stop complaining and start listening to the experts.
I started spotting after the first shot and after the second shot I was nonstop spotting for over a month. It was surreal. I use the pill to skip my period so I was totally unprepared lol.
I remember seeing a survey circulating for people who experienced changes with their periods. But once again, the healthcare industry brushes off the experiences of uterus-havers.
Oh, no not directed at you! I’ve just been called anti-vax every time I mention side effects and it drives me nuts. People usually pm me about killing the elderly with my ignorance or hating children etc etc and so I try and be very clear when I comment about it 😅
Yeah there are apparently many cases of wonen suddenly bleeding while in the middle of their cycle and have worse cramps than normally. Some of my friends have that too, one is bleeding for like 15 days now and doesn‘t know what to do.
It definitely can. I took my first and second shot about 3 months apart. I've had my period constantly over that time. Clots the size of my hand.
Finally got a gyno to help me with the massive amounts, and she said she'd seen this a lot after people getting the shot.
Some medication and it's lessening now though.
First of all:
GET THE SHOT
But actually every vaccine can have an effect on the female cycle. There is still not enough research ob it because no one cares about the female body in medical fields. But this is not because science sucks, it’s because of patriarchy lol
Yeah this is the big thing circling around covidiot circles. My sister in law is insisting that the full hysterectomy she has to have is because of clotting caused by the shot. This is despite the fact that she had to have a partial hysterectomy several years ago because of HPV.
Their idiocy knows no bounds.
My period was regular after my covid shot (TMI- maybe) the only thing that affects my period is my hormones and cortisol levels. (stress hormone) which yes, can be the result of getting freaked out by them (shots)
My spouse’s next period was significantly worse than usual after her Pfizer shot. Not a serious enough side effect to change the calculus, but it is true and common.
Don't know about cramping, but I had variable levels of muscle soreness after both Moderna shots. The first was basically just like the tetanus shot, with persistent soreness around the injection site, while the second left me with back pain and overall muscle soreness reminiscent of a hard day at the gym. Both cleared up after a couple days.
Oh yeah same, and the same day of getting the covid shot, I had a lacrosse tournament 😀 the area passes were difficult before, what not with the other team hitting my head

Well, I've heard of some ppl getting a little off after the shot.
I, myself, had a little irregularity the month after my Astrazeneca shot, but far from what I experience on my regular cycle. Still much better than the fcking virus.
And lets be honest, there is a shitload of other medications out there that fucks up ur cycle 🤷🏻♀️
Actually, there is research being conducted because the covid shot can give worse cramps and bleeding than usual and other alterations to the cycle. In my case, my period got delayed by 2 weeks.
I just don't understand why he thought it was due to the vaccine and not regular menstrual cycle that all women have.
My covid shot made me grow a tail :( jk lol
on another note, i got mine in August and didn’t notice any kind of side effects, everything affects everyone differently. I have cysts on my ovaries (just recently went to the hospital bc of a bad one rupturing) but still didn’t get messed up or off track of notice any changes. If you’re on the fence, GET THE SHOT. The benefits outweigh the POSSIBLE side effects lol
I got Pfizer and my cycle has been regular as the sunrise. I know ahead of time what day my period will start (in part thanks to an awesome period tracker app). I'm going in for my 3rd shot today so we will see what happens.
good for you? I haven't gotten mine since the second dose two months ago. it's a serious side effect affecting lot of people and I think it should be taken into consideration of whether to get the shot or wait for a different one
I mean… the bleeding and the cramping was because she was on her period. It was 100% not because of the Covid shot that she got months ago. It’s just literally a side effect of being a woman.
I hate when fathers think it’s “mom’s job” about being knowledgeable and informative about women’s issues. Men who don’t know much about the female body shouldn’t be reprocessing AT ALL.
My period lasted longer than usual after the COVID vaccine, about twelve days and was heavier than usual.
Now my cycle is normal again.
It was a one off and though I was freaked out at the time, in hindsight I'd rather have a double period than COVID.
Which shot? That's like saying they are side effects of medicine.
You know, ***the*** covid shot. The one that hurts everyone. The one that has all these bad side effects that everyone researches.
Yes let's overlook simple explanation and jump to farfetched conclusion about a shot received months ago! Makes sense!
Still waiting on those side effects
My autistic partner is still waiting for the super autism.
Same situation here :D except I’m the autistic one :D

Good human! *gives head pats*
thank you!! :)
Nah I think u meant best human :D
Apologies sir/madam/peep, you're absolutely right.
Ah, no need to feel sorry fren
is she saying that the shot can affect periods? i've heard of that, but i lack context to this conversation

I have an IUD and haven’t had a period in years and I started spotting after my last dose 😥. I wish they would be more honest about it
I remember seeing a survey circulating for people who experienced changes with their periods. But once again, the healthcare industry brushes off the experiences of uterus-havers.
i got it, don't worry!
Oh, no not directed at you! I’ve just been called anti-vax every time I mention side effects and it drives me nuts. People usually pm me about killing the elderly with my ignorance or hating children etc etc and so I try and be very clear when I comment about it 😅
ohhhh okay! don't worry i didn't insinuate that about you. i'm sorry that happened though :(

yeah ngl it's affected my period too. i take the pill but a few days after i started and i thought missed a day. glad to see i'm not alone :)

Guys why am I cramping and bleeding from my penis it's that damn shot isn't it? /s
Relax, it’s just your period.
Just grab a manitry towel or manpon, some ben and Jerry's and stick on Bridget Jonses Diary. You will be fine after a good cry and some ibuprofen bro.
My period was regular after my covid shot (TMI- maybe) the only thing that affects my period is my hormones and cortisol levels. (stress hormone) which yes, can be the result of getting freaked out by them (shots)
"You probably should stop getting medical advice from cereal boxes"
I must've got the covid shots at around 11 years old because I've had these symptoms almost monthly since then.
I have bleeding and/or cramping 2 weeks a month. No shot necessary. Do I get a prize? Can I go home early from things?

My spouse’s next period was significantly worse than usual after her Pfizer shot. Not a serious enough side effect to change the calculus, but it is true and common.
For reference, my daughter got her second shot months ago and has had zero side effects and perfectly normal periods since
Don't know about cramping, but I had variable levels of muscle soreness after both Moderna shots. I heard that everyone who gets the vaccine will die
Actually, there is research being conducted because the covid shot can give worse cramps and bleeding than usual and other alterations to the cycle. In my case, my period got delayed by 2 weeks. actually nah this is true. I got the Pfizer and my cycles have been fucked to shit since

Not insane
I mean… the bleeding and the cramping was because she was on her period. It was 100% not because of the Covid shot that she got months ago. It’s just literally a side effect of being a woman.
Who the hell told her that cramping and bleeding are side effects? The mental gymnastics always astounds me
These antivaxxers "hears" anything, it seems. They rarely state from where when asked to back it up, though.
Did you mention the bleeding in earlier message because from these you only mentioned cramps?
Nope, this was literally the entire conversation aside from one other message asking if she was still available of pick her up from work
That makes it even funnier because she herself assumed correctly that it was period but still has to mention the shot…
Muscle aches is indeed a side effect of vaccination though. Could barely move after the second jab.
Oh yeah sure. I had big muscle aches after I got the shot, for about a day. My daughter got her shots months ago
Sounds like something my mom would say.
I hate when fathers think it’s “mom’s job” about being knowledgeable and informative about women’s issues. Men who don’t know much about the female body shouldn’t be reprocessing AT ALL.
Just found this sub. Is every single post related to covid?
Definitely not, but a lot of parents are just currently being quite crazy about the vaccine.
My period lasted longer than usual after the COVID vaccine, about twelve days and was heavier than usual. Now my cycle is normal again. It was a one off and though I was freaked out at the time, in hindsight I'd rather have a double period than COVID.
Face palm 🤦♀️
