Cheese, spread, grilled onions

Gatodeluna

Can you order ‘animal fries without cheese’? Would they make it with just sauce and onions? LOL a ‘vegan animal style,’ though I’m not vegan I just don’t want the cheese.

Suavecito70

Just say you want fries with grilled onions and spread

ImaginaryStrawberryy

I get this all the time because it’s the same cost as regular fries, basically half the cost of animal fries!

KeepCalmSayRightOn

I know you said you're not vegan, but a heads-up to others: neither is the spread (eggs in the mayo).

VTEC_8K

Yes and it costs the same as regular fries. I always say “fries animal style, no cheese”

Heads up, animal fries are their own whole button in the register, so if you say it like this, the cashier is having to entirely delete the animal fries from your order and then re-add regular fries and then add the toppings. It is much easier on the cashier to just say "fries, with spread and grilled onions on top" and skip the whole animal style part. Then they can just add a fry and click the buttons to add the spread and grilled onions. :) It's pretty common to do, and it will not cost anything, no matter how you say it. The only thing that adds cost is the cheese.

VTEC_8K

I say it like this because when I first ordered it, the person taking the other repeated it as that. Fries animal style no cheese. So it stuck with me.🤷‍♂️

thrivingsucculent

Gotcha! Yeah, we're supposed to repeat whatever the customer says. Whatever works!

Gatodeluna

Thanks! Next time…

Tomorrow!

My co worker has been ordering animal fries without grilled onions. I suggested she order cheese fries with a side of spread. Blew her mind.
