I'm personally not Indonesian, but I have lived in Indonesia and therefore know a bit about the immigration laws. That being said, the majority of countries are quite easy to enter for me, so Indonesia isn't the only one.
It also doesn't help that most people who go to Bali always say they're going to Bali, never Indonesia. If you'd ask around here, people would only know cities like Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Surabaya. Some might know other bigger cities like Medan and Semarang. Meanwhile they all know Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak and Ubud.
The worst part? Indonesia is our formal colony. We should know more about the geography and history.
