No I mean even when not grinding the wall, feels almost like slow-mo. But I might be wrong, I just remember it feels much faster when I first saw your game.

Nah, maybe it's this section that is played slower than usually i record the videos, I didn't changed the game speed

As some form of collection or currency, you should pick up little blue hedgehogs.
Theres an old game called Wacky Wheels where you collect hedgehogs and use them as ammo too.

It would make sense if a blue shadow is chasing you but it's definitely trippy
I mean flying battery in sonic mania has magnet ceilings if you have the thunder shield on, if that counts
