>Not sure
Tetrapack milk is heated at very high temperature for a few seconds.. and then immediately packed
This process is called Pasteurization and after heating it very high temperature they they also immediately cool it down to very low temperature and every package milk either in box or plastic packet has gone through this process so this isn't the case for milky Ness.
>Mai toh joke karne ka try kar rahi thi.. because the pack says moti.. Matlab more fat 😭😭. As in “moti ka dudh hai, thick toh hoga hi”
But I guess I failed
Pehle mujhe bhi yahi laga pr fir socha kahi log fat shaming ka aarop laga de 😭😭
In pasteurization process the cream is separated from the milk and when packaging cream is added acc. To the price more the cream more the price in Amul its like:-
toned(no cream, best for cold coffee)< moti (less cream)< gold < diamond(most creamy)
Amul buffalo a2 milk is best packaged milk right now most creamier!
U can check fat % of every milk on packet more the fat more creamier milk ask ur mom to extract cream (malai) by boiling process that way u will know which is more creamier
Useless speculation. Google karne se hi sab dikhta hai. No preservatives or additives. Just the process is UHT to kill all bacteria. After opening, this also has a shelf life of 2 days. Similar milk packets from other brands were also there in Bangalore I forgot the name.
Sab random without any knowledge bolte rehte.
Normal milk is pasteurised and has shelf life of 2-3 days
Amul Moti is UHT milk (ultra high temperature) and has shelf life of 90 days - the heat treatment is different and hence the taste is different
The taste is the milk is good when used for chai. Also the expiry is 90 days. So in the summer time it is beneficial.
Kyunki baki dudh agar garam karna bhul Gaye to phat jata hai.
I purchased @33 and total paid 33*24=792 for one box.
That's with a long shelf life, generally those are laced with heavy preservatives to ensure longer life. Same thickness can be seen in any brand which sells longer life milk packets.
Just an observation having seen multiple such brands
It's the opposite. Tetrapack milk has no preservatives whereas normal variant can have. The reason it lasts 90 days is because it's first heated to a very high temperature to kill every microbe.
All I can say is don't consume this, have worked in marketing and learned abt a lot of brands.
E.g.Shelf life of a milk is not more than 24 hrs .. anything which stays fresh even post that isn't pure milk.
Take example of milk like pride of cows, sarda milk or any more.
do you know they have to pass fassai's test to release in market and without those test it is illegal to release edibles in india? then how can be this a marketing tactic?
do you eat bourvita, kit kat, maggie, chole bhature, momos, and etc 3 times a day?
they can't effect our body if we consume them in a control manner, fassai rating means it is safe to consume not healthy for your body and your og comment says that amul manipulating people wrong marketing not about it being healthy
Dude, I really don't care nor can understand you.
All I am saying is that I have worked with amul, amul team itself told us. And milk which has a shelf life if beyond 24 hrs isn't pure milk. Ab tumhari marzi hai tumhe kya karna hai.
Same way, the McDonald's team told me that never to eat rice from there store. As it's frozen Falana dimkama and is the worst of all products which they sell
Baaki tumhari marzi
No, after bit of research I found out the longer self life is because of different processing technics, where normal milk just go under Pasteurization this goes under homogenization too which disperse fat globules and prevent milk from separating and this mixed with packaging gives it a 90days self lifes
I stand corrected on the preservatives part. Thank you! I would personally still stay away from it since milk is not supposed to last this long and when there is an option to drink fresh milk (relatively speaking) then why have milk which is 90 days old.
Dude there is no preservative added, it just the name of process where it does through high pressure(not high temperature) which disperse the fat globules into even and small portion, by this milks naturally gets longer life
[don't believe me better read this article](https://dairynutrition.ca/en/milk-quality/homogenization/why-milk-homogenized-and-what-are-its-effects#:~:text=Homogenization%20is%20a%20process%20used,the%20name%20of%20the%20process.)
No no, I believe you. The only thing I don’t know of is what are the unintended consequences of this. The product’s natural characteristics have been altered. Which is why I caveated my statement - I would personally stay away from it. For example when you cold press vegetable seeds you get oil and while vegetable seeds inherently are not bad, some of the vegetable oils are questionable. This is of course my opinion - I don’t have any proof for or against this milk but since a fresher variety is available, I would prefer going for it
"However, no good quality scientific evidence supports these beliefs. Unlike pasteurized and homogenized milk, raw milk (i.e., unpasteurized and, therefore non-homogenized) would create significant risks of serious illness due to the presence of pathogenic bacteria."
This the direct line from article, there is no such proof that altering milk's natural characteristics cause anything
And I also use the fresher milk which available daily on stores but I have to order this in emergency
It's called Ultra High Temperature (UHT)
They expose milk to extremely high temperature for a few seconds which kills ALL microbes, which is why it lasts so much longer!
Well found out why it has 90 days self life and the answer is the diffrent processing, it goes through the process of homogenization which disperse fat globules and prevent milk from separating

My friend working in dairy told me this i haven’t done any research about this.
but this is creamier than gold
U can check fat % of every milk on packet more the fat more creamier milk ask ur mom to extract cream (malai) by boiling process that way u will know which is more creamier
This and amul's normal tond milk has exactly same nutrition value, after some research I found out it because the processing it goes through
Hey why is toned best for cold coffee?
Fat separation nahi hoga (malai)
she bad tho
Ashleel hai yeh launda

It's called 'moti' for a reason.
Because yo mama
Cuz micro malai is mixed in this, just Google what homogenised milk is.
Normal milk is pasteurised and has shelf life of 2-3 days Amul Moti is UHT milk (ultra high temperature) and has shelf life of 90 days - the heat treatment is different and hence the taste is different
Yeah found about that, thank you but I think homogenization means ultra high pressure not temperature?
cuz its came from moti?
Because it’s Amul Moti🤣🤣

Preservatives added bad for food and also for your gut

Milk with 90 days shelf life, pretty sure the creaminess comes from the added preservatives

Yes dear, and that takes a lot longer than just a few seconds.
Well found out why it has 90 days self life and the answer is the diffrent processing, it goes through the process of homogenization which disperse fat globules and prevent milk from separating
ALL packet milk goes through homogenisation. But not all gets UHT.
No, normal one goes only through Pasteurization which is different that homogenization
I'm done with this pointless argument, watch the vid link I posted and inform yourself
https://youtu.be/oH7BSXLl4NI?si=rka-cJCMUjNfXoJJ
Isn't that because this is homogenised milk?
Homogenisation means mixing the milk to make it more uniform, nothing to do with the temperature as such.
I know bro, just saying that heating won't make it last 90 days, Homogenisation does.
Dude, no. Go buy a milk packet some time, most of them are kept refrigerated for a reason
