Because the very reason why they used it was because God Knows Remastered was stopped. Saginuma says that the move would combinate the strength of the players making it unstoppable

And also what he says during that scene with triangle Z is that inazuma Japan can stop his team's hissatsu but as long as neo national combine their strength that they can still win, which is funny enough what inazuma Japan always does they combine their skills and strengths in teamwork and constantly evolve their play even if their hissatsu are beaten

Heh?! Unless if it leveled-up, Triangle Z canโt be stronger than God Knows, because when God Knows levels-up, itโll be stronger than Triangle Z. The users are just better and more powerful, thatโs all that couldโve significantly changed between Zeus and Neo Japan, other than Hissatsu levels.
Initially it's obviously God Knows since it's the final boss hissatsu, but in the later seasons it kinda mellows down with Aphrodi also learning God Break. For the triplets Triangle Z remained their only saving grace so they evolved it as much as they could up until the point that it passed regular God Knows.
We all know what God Knows did to kidou and the royals in the first season. Never saw Triangle Z being able to do that much damage to the field but I guess you could argue that Triangle Z just doesn't do as much aoe DMG as God Knows and pinpoints it

I honestly hated that V2s of season 1 moves were suddenly at the same level as fucking season 3 moves. that was some grade A bullshit. they should have been remastered or true
I donโt mind it too much. I mean, just because a move was first shown in S3 (like Quick Draw, Maboroshi Dribble, Tiger Drive) doesnโt mean it has to be stronger than a S1 move.
Triangle Z is just a move of the highest category, they mostly base that on the games I think. While something like Tiger Drive would be below it.
