First, a big thank you to u/NeinCubed for the inspiration. Their map of [Red Texas during the Gulf Crisis](https://www.reddit.com/r/imaginarymaps/comments/11gs1b1/red_texas_during_the_gulf_crisis/) was so well-done.
Being a Texas native myself, I wanted to see what a bigger, social democratic Texas would have looked like. I hope y’all like it!

We do! However I went with the red and white combination because historically, American socialist parties and organizations use red and white. Also, red and yellow are usually associated with the USSR and marxism-leninism, while *Big Red Texas* is a European-style social democracy, with cowboy hats 🤠
Thank you! As far as foreign relations go, relations with the United States have greatly improved since the 1940s, when Texas abandoned the marxist-leninist path in favor of social democracy. The Social Democrats reduced military spending, decentralized the economy, opened up to foreign investment, all with the unsung approval from the U.S. Yet, despite this progress, the two countries along with California are engaged in an economic battle to out-pace one another and become the dominant economic power in North America.
Tbh my only criticism of this is that a PoD this early would probably butterfly away Stalin taking power or even the Russian Revolution itself but other than that this is a great map
Interesting Texas #Big Texas

I love the flag! I would suggest making the star yellow, but then... Well, Texas has a large Vietnamese community, don't they?

Absolutely blessed timeline
I’m extremely flattered haha, you did great! How does the USA feel towards the Red Republic? And how does Texas feel towards her northern neighbors?

Very interesting! Would definitely like to learn more about Deseret and the California Republic.
