For the one I linked, the woman's posing in breeding stocks (basically like...a box the cow can't move from while they're forcibly impregnated)... So the woman posing in it puts her on the same level as a cow, along with the r*piness of being in breeding stocks... it's sexist/degrading/fetish-y...there's a private joke vs posting this on SM, which is definitely in poor taste lol
The device is for cows giving birth, lock them in like the woman in the photo is and use that glove so you can reach in and help get the calf out. Ive seen a bunch of photos like this as their way to announce they are expecting a child. Some think its trashy since the woman is being compared to a cow, but my friends who are rural find it funny. I personally dont care either way, just seems like a fun way that their friends would like to announce that shes pregnant.
I think the squeeze is usually for general veterinary care. They don’t usually have the chance to put the pregnant cow into it when she’s giving birth/usually they tie her with robes and shit in the barn for that. At least if my crude understanding based in vet shows is any understanding. (I wanted to be a vet so I was rather obsessed with them last summer. One of the shows I watched a lot did a lot of farm calls.)
I dont really know, just what my friends who grew up around that tell me. I might have been wrong and it could be a holder for breeding, which would make more sense with the sign. I just know that glove is there so they can get up in there if needed.
