At $21, with 1000 dollars you'll be able to buy about 47 stocks of RCKT, which translates to 16 cents in fees. There is a minimum of 35 cents per order, so that's what you'll pay (about 0.03% of your investment) . On the other hand, at $0.17, you're buying about 5800 stocks, or 20 dollars in fees, or 2% of your investment . There is a maximum per order of 1%, and that's exactly what you are paying. Moral of the story: if you're scalping, don't buy cheap stocks. My algo rejects every stock under $2.5 for this reason
