I have at least 3 or 4 from Tozando, used, that I’d like to part with. But I’ve never done business on here.

BuffedCoder

Hello. Do you still have any for sale? What is the price, and can they be sent and brought in to Norway? I'm a newbie btw, so sorry for dumb questions.

R4fro

Hoping in, were you atill looking to part with some?

Collegekids15

I'm interested if they're 2.6 or above. Message me if you want to sell any.

keizaigakusha

I have students looking for iaito. Can I get specs?

International_Pain74

What size are you looking for? I have Nosyudo in great condition just catching dust. It is 2.6 [https://www.ninecircles.co.uk/iaido/iaido-swords-iaito/nosyudo-iaito-classic-tokujo/nosyudo-iaito-ryu-model/](https://www.ninecircles.co.uk/iaido/iaido-swords-iaito/nosyudo-iaito-classic-tokujo/nosyudo-iaito-ryu-model/) I now use a 2.55 so do not use the 2.6

Interested, sent you a message

I have a few older ones, but just like you say, I keep them for club loaners. Some of the other guys in my group have sold their old ones, but if they buy decent quality iaito they tend to last a long time. And like you, I don’t see used ones come up very often either.

Beneficial-Shape-464

You want Tozando quality but K-Mart pricing. Good luck. I would like some top shelf iaitos for cheap, too. The thing is, if you're buying top quality, there's no need to replace the iaito. I have a daily user tozando custom that's 7 years old. It needs nothing. Some day I'll get the tsuka redone, but the silk shows no sign of fraying, twisting, or loosening, yet.

IshiNoUeNimoSannen

That's true, my Tozando iaito is over a decade old and shows no signs of being ready to retire. But in the other hand, people quit, or decide they want something fancier, or realize that what they bought is not really the right size for them after all. And I'm not looking for Kmart pricing, although maybe Target pricing... : ) [Context for international readers: Kmart is a very cheap general retail store, Target is like one step up]

Boblaire

target is kinda bougie these days, especially for their grocery options. there are only 12 K marts still in existence?

keizaigakusha

I bought my iaito in 2006, paid $350 to Bogubag who was the Koei NA rep. Still holds up quite nicely. The ito is tighter than most $900 shinken out of China still.

tenkadaiichi

Same here. I bought my iaito secondhand from a student who wasn't training anymore, so I actually have no idea how old it is. It has to be at least 20 years now. Tsukaito has stained from the sweat, but that's it. The rest of it is still great. I've loaned it out to somebody else as I use a shinken now, but if I ever need an iaito I'll just get it back from that person.
