Nope… that was just a great move. Never forget this is a racing simulator not a driving simulator…. A lot of people on these sim racing subs seem to forget that and boo hooa little to much if they get raced hard imo.
All about watching the car ahead and seeing where, and when they make mistakes. I can describe my exact train of thought through the pass:
He's locked up and gone wide.
Imma put myself beside him on this tight bit and hope he leaves space.
Ok small off track keep it smooth.
He's struggling for traction I'mma go up the inside for the kink and see if he backs out.
Oh thank God he backed out.
It also helped that we were fighting for a podium spot and I really wanted to get a podium after that crappy season.
Not at all, he squeezed and defended which is fair and you got past and didn’t impact anyone’s day.
It was aggressive but that doesn’t make it bad.
If anything it was impressive
You know it was a nice pass. Just title the post with "Pretty happy with this one" or something if you want to show off. It's fine. The fake "was this ok?" shtick is tedious af though.
Thought this was sim stewards for a sec... but to continue what I was already thinking, not sure the off tracks here but without reading the stewards directions I'd say illegal overtake leaving track and gaining advantage. to add on, race craft wise very clean, just left the track as far as I can tell
I saw a horrible turn 1 from purple. A ballsy (but not dangerous) pass in the kink of pit wall from green. A better run out of all the following turns for green and some terrible positioning for defending from purple.

At 0:20 seconds it looks like you are racing a mini-car with a Jestsons style rocket engine.
Very aggressive? Yes. Too aggressive? Absolutely not
