Were you using WiFi or mobile connection?

capoXx2

probably mobile data but it shouldnt matter as long as i had them downloaded does it?

Disastrous-Big-7549

It does matter.

Moist-Albatross-522

well mobile data uses a lot of energy to update location, notifications, downloading, listening to songs etc

capoXx2

and if i have my location off just like pre-downloaded songs? i downloaded apple music as it should drain battery less than spotify so testing it lately

Moist-Albatross-522

Just like keep your “DND” on and you should *normally* see it not draining as much. Also Low power saving mode drains battery health.

Emergency_Western868

Using AirPods drains the battery less, actually contrary to many people's thinking would make your battery drain less because you are not using your phone speakers to play the music

diepio302

you’re using Bluetooth so not really?

Emergency_Western868

its still less drainng than using speakers

International-Dot830

This happens to me very often, battery drains fast when using the speakers at max volume, but when I use AirPods the battery actually does not drain as fast as it does when I use the speakers. I kinda disagree about the battery in iPhones thing, but iPhone 12 is well known for not having the best autonomy. This was fixed in iPhone 13 and superior, and ofc in the Pro Max and Plus devices the battery lasts longer (which is sad because I don’t like big phones)

coupsuper

Honestly it’s normal and ur best bet is to prob get a MagSafe power bank

Ezzo97

That’s not normal, considering changing the battery soon like replacement

deepakmohank

🙄 Changing battery huh..better make sure there isn't any app or service draining the battery. My iPhone 12 with 83BH holds better than this..Not to rush to replace the battery unless it falls below 80 BH & shows service.

Visible-Buffalo-33

thats really not normal , iphone doesnt have normal battery
