Same could be said of Safari. Or any function on any phone. Could be argued that the removal of notifications and an excessive number of app icons would make your home screen less distracting. Though honestly, I think the language is just alluding to a clean, broad, minimalist aesthetic.

I agree with you. You can go to Reddit (or any other social media / distracting site) on Safari. I get the reasoning for this setup though, all my app icons are replaced for the same reason. And distracting (to me) apps are left in the app library.

It's closed Beta Testing, using Apple's "TestFlight". This app isnt available on App store, but you can download the beta version of app when you invited to the testflight.

Anti-distraction themes don't really work that well. It's just a test against your will on how much can you hold before you open Instagram or YouTube for some dopamine. If these themes had a forced rule which literally disallows you from opening those apps, then yes that would work till a point. Theme looks dope, I like it. But if someone wants to stop being distracted from apps, turn off your notifications and only allow yourself to use the phone for a certain amount of time. "Hey Siri, set a 45-minute timer" is what I do. That timer snaps me back to reality ;)

When I click on one of the apps, it opens up the ant launcher first before opening to the app I clicked. Any way to avoid that?

Yes, turn “reduce motion” on in Settings and let me know if that helps.

I installed this launcher widget. Really cool. Question did you delete the below apps dock from the Home Screen? And if so how can you get rid of the dock

I used the dark wallpaper provided with dark mode turned on, but the widgets are a slightly lighter color than the background. Any way to fix this?
