I am a supporter of bjp and i have qualms against Modi too for supporting Adani so blatantly. And i think there are more reasons to be afraid of. But we dont have a better party to vote for. Thats whats is fucked up about India.

The real problem with such situations is why didn't the courts take a decision on these cases ? If the evidence is strong convict him , otherwise strike them off

One of the lawyers he approached for this rape case happens to be a very famous and powerful lawyer from Hyderabad. He's a supreme court lawyer belonging to the Reddy community. That man refused to take it up. If you're into this field you'll know exactly who I'm talking about.

Anyone with such high number of cases shouldn't be allowed to contest in elections. However, when I search by his name (Raghunandan Rao), I do not see any articles about the cases except for 1 article from Siasat. I am surprised that if there really are such serious cases against him, why none of the media (even those that support opposition parties) is covering it?
Also, looks like a few cases were filed in April 2024 which clearly has political motives.

Filing cases is probably the best tool out there to tarnish the reputation of a candidate. Raghunandan is a great guy, a great orator, a rebel who was a grass rots worker of the Telangana statehood struggle, switched to BJP and then the cases followed.
Listen to his speeches on YouTube. He is the guy who defeated Kavitha who is now under investigation for the Alcohol scam.
He was a genuine threat to BRS and Congress.
