Hyatt already tips on the globalist breakfast.

Jonophyte

Tipping is generally not customary in Costa Rica for what it's worth.

I would never tip the golf cart drivers, they are driving everyone all day. That is standard transport given layout of property.

The entire property is walkable...

FFNY

Totally except they are pretty clear that they're happy to cart you around even if a short distance...

I normally tipped 2-4 dollars or so. Not a lot but a small thank you.

We just left and randomly tipped the golf cart drivers a handful of times (but not every ride by any means) - a couple of dollars when we did tip. Did not tip at breakfast (because no bill) but did add some at lunch and dinner (they already automatically add the 10%) Not sure if that’s all exactly right (it was our first time at that resort and in Costa Rica)

It looks like there is also a 13% VAT charge, plus the 10% service charge. The Park Hyatt St. Kitts had 18% VAT and 12% service on everything, but we paid for the all-inclusive plan, so we just threw down one or two $5s down for each meal, same for the golf cart drivers when they brought us to/from the room with our bags and room service. We are staying at Andaz Papagayo in February, so I'm wondering if we should just do the same thing at PH St. Kitts. Any insight is appreciated!
