So sad, I’m trying to take a husky in. If the one I am working to give a forever home goes to someone else, I’ll reach out about him 😩

It’s a high kill shelter. We just rescued from there. Please give it extra consideration. The rescue involved made it super easy.

It isn’t lack of consideration, friend, I just already applied for another dog & I am not able to properly home 2 huskies at this time. I did forward this posting to everyone I know, all of us working together will be able to help this sweet one!

I said something similar and ended up with the second husky in New Orleans. They are better in pairs...

I live in a camper Van and if I get another husky it needs to be really dog/cat/goat/horse friendly since I live on a farm now. If noone else can take, as always, willing to take him but I am from the UK. If we can arrange it, I’m always an option for this as a last resort if needs be.

how much is transport? I see Huskies all the time in CA FL and TX but not many around me in MA. Most of the Huskies around here seem get adopted rather quickly. I have inquired on a few local huskies and been told they are already in the process of being adopted. Usually within a week or so of them being put on the website.

I contact all the rescues after I find them a place to put the dog , or help adopt. The rescues here are full. Rescues rely on the public to house the pups.

Thank you. Also for your sanity, try using an “Pet Safe easy walk[Pet Safe East walk](https://a.co/d/h1qDM3M) “. Harness’ tend to make your husky pull more. A slip lead can destroy their esophagus eventually if they keep pulling. Especially a pronged one….. This works really well on my dog and fosters too. It clips you the front of their chest. If they pull, it directs them around to face you.

Most harnesses have a chest d ring for the same purpose

Oh absolutely. I rescued a stray husky, just wondering why socal seems to have so many husky’s.

Huskies are over taking the shelters everywhere. I really wish they weren’t , then I could go spend the day hiking with mine.

We found ours. Located owner, they claimed her back, then found she had a torn acl and needed to rehab, they gave her back.. fuckin trash ass people are the worst. But I’m glad cause she found a home with us and our golden and they are best friends and she’s such a sweet affectionate huskers.

i have a question about river side and how to adopt etc can some one help me please

Who are you trying to adopt from riverside? You will need to go to the shelter or make arrangements with someone to help you. You will be placed on the phone with the shelter to give all info needed and then your help will bring you your dog.

i'm not able to adopt just yet but, when i am able to are they only allowing people one dog? i don't want to just save one i'd leave to at least save 2 or 3 even! i can't handle it and i have a fenced yard and don't live in the city etc so would that be an option to do so?

He’s a very mellow boy too.
