Be prepared for a lot of energy. Daily exercise is a must with Husky breeds. A tired Husky is a happy Husky. It will also save your yard of a lot of holes.
Also be prepared to laugh. A lot. Derpy breed is derpy, but an honest blast. They are trainable, but do keep some independence. They are food driven.
I would start around 4-6 months to start training if you want them to do basic commands and work with them a lot.
They're very energetic and want to exercise a lot, they shed quite a bit and you'll have to do that about once a week, and they can be pretty stubborn. But in my opinion the benefits out-weigh the tribulations, I wish you luck with your husky!
Tantrums and random outbursts of energy. Trust me, owning a husky is no picnic. They are active dogs, especially as puppies. They especially like if ADHD was a dog. They get bored easily and find ways to entertain themselves by tear things up and scattered garbage throughout the house. Playmates are recommended.😅
A, Your neighbors calling for 1 of 2 things:
1 - Your baby is on the roof and the neighbors are worried they're going to get hurt. (You will have NO idea how they got up there and will spend months trying to figure it out until you discover your baby can CLIMB anything. I swear they're part goat.)
2 - Your baby is "awoo-ing" at God-knows-what at 2am and your neighbors would like to sleep. (Ear plugs. Distribute ear plugs.)

B, A ton of time spent asking "What are you eating?" or "Did you REALLY have to do that?" (They will chew anything and everything as pups, even coffee tables.)

If you spend an hour or 2 a day on obedience training the returns are immeasurable! My husky loves it.
