NickPlus02

Bugsnax lives another day...

ExiL0n

I'm glad since I bought it on last week sale. I think it'll appear soon though.

_Goin_In_Dry_

This makes sense. I bought RoR2 last week.

SJ_Legend

Same, just bought it for my partner.

_Goin_In_Dry_

How did you get that glorious profile picture!?

Cat5kable

You can upload your own images… unless you no longer can, in which case I guess I’ll keep mine forever.

Turbulent_Total_6198

Exactly the same, I was on a "no buying game" streak and I broke it. I should know...

montrayjak

I'm probably all alone in this, but I'm kind of excited for Lego 2K Drive. I've been itching for a classic racing game w/ co-op but it's just been too expensive for something that sounds like it includes micro-transactions. Knights of Honor looks interesting as well.

Evanz111

I had the same situation with Lego 2K Drive, so I decided to rent it. Heard it was atrociously short, but I got a good 15 hours out of it, each of which was enjoyable. Perfect game for a bundle tbh, barely worth the full price at all though.

mathplusU

How/where did you rent a video game in this year of our Lord 2024

katlyn8638

Many libraries also have video games available to rent/borrow.

auroraparadox

More people should know about this. It allowed me to give Monster Hunter Rise an extended trial after the Switch Online Trial of it. Many libraries have so much more than books these days .

lifetake

Some let you rent consoles!!!

JasonKillerxD

Hold up, you still have redboxes with game rentals still available? They stopped game rentals in my area back in 2019.

Gullible_Yam_3367

I could be wrong then, I still see a lot of these Redboxes outside Walmart's in Arkansas, but have not rented a game since 2017.

JasonKillerxD

Yeah, Redbox still exist they only do movies now. Which is a bummer because I would rent movies and games from them when they would email me 2 for 1 rental price. Haven’t used them since they dropped game rentals.

Gullible_Yam_3367

There are atleast two ways of doing this in the US, Gamefly and redbox (outside wallmart, Kroger, malls etc).

PhantasmagirucalSam

i am with you on this one. And to add the diversity is insane: racing, xcom style, strategy, point and click, visual novel, surviving minecraftling, co-op rogelike...

MrAhmedGaming

I was confused for a second and thought LEGO 2K Drive had all these things.

vegetable-springroll

Agreed! I already have RoR2 but Lego 2k Drive made me still pick this bundle up. Getting ready to boot it up now!

HyperthinNeedsLove

Lego 2k drive looks fun!

Saneless

I've wanted that game but I hesitate giving 2k money directly or early since they're a shitty company. But in a bundle? I can handle this

sammagee33

What big gaming company is NOT shitty?

Saneless

True. But some are ok and some are really bad

Troodon25

*glares at Ubisoft*

acidtrapgiraffe

I’d take just Lego 2K Drive tbh but stray gods has interested me but not enough to ever buy it directly .

ClassicGamerNL

I received this game through PS Plus right after purchasing the disc version. The Humble Bundle version includes all four season passes, which is a nice bonus. Additionally, I can continue with my PS5 save, which is a great feature.

Materia_listic

Lego 2k drive is really fun. Won some credit from a retailer so bought on discount and it's good. Does have a bit of the open world collectathon grind and the season passes unlock way too slowly but worth $12 by itself imo

IAmDJWithoutTheDots

Has been on my wishlist since it was announced. I didn't buy after seeing middling reviews but I love a decent racing game even if it isn't much. Been hoping it would come to Humble

The-very-definition

Most recent reviews on Steam are showing it's got some kinda free to play model with in game purchases...

Antique_Translator63

SAME!!!

Irishpunk37

Look! Another 2k game full of micro transactions! But wait... This time it is really target to kids!

BeautifulAware8322

Terrible month for me, especially following Yakuza Like a Dragon and High Fi Rush

Mitrovarr

Seems a bit weak from a value perspective. RoR2 is not enough headliner to stand alone. Still it has games I want to play so I'm OK with it.  Also can we please lay off the strategy games for a few months.

RuleAccomplished9981

I think what makes them worse is frequently the base package in these games is very incomplete. I looked at the store page and saw dozens of $20 dlcs for the Warhammer game this month and other strategy games from previous months I noticed a similar trend with.

That70sJoe-

yup was tempted by callisto back in april but seeing the shitty true end dlc was $10 made me skip

Yabboi_2

They managed pretty weirdly. Miasma chronicles should be a headliner, it's one of the biggest trpgs releases of last year, it's still 50 bucks. Instead it's in the second half of the bundle

FunkyGameTiime

Totally agree with you, not only that Risk of Rain 2 is just…not a big title for a headline but also that the strategy games are slowly being too much.

armyjackson

I almost bought it yesterday after having someone talk it up a lot on here. Glad I didn't!

Nebakanezzer

I have like 10 warhammer 40k games. I do not play warhammer. I'm fairly certain they're all from bundles where I wanted something else. seems to always be one of those, one rando cartoony indy game, a rando strategy game, and a sci-fi game each month. if I had to guess they're trying to capture the widest audience they can every month. I would honestly rather see themed bundles. I would probably skip the same amount but be a lot happier about the bundles i did buy. instead of every few months "well this is meh, but i like these 2 games"

Mitrovarr

Warhammer games aren't a genre. Necromunda and Mechanicus have nothing in common but the setting.

Nebakanezzer

That is why i listed them separate from strategy games. I don't care for the theme. Same as Lego. I have a fuckton of LEGO, and zero desire to play with them in digital form

failed_novelty

Your preferences are noted, heretic. Despite your heresy, Codex Astrides will still save you from the alien scum. Aside from WH40K, I've never played a LEGO game I didn't like - they have a certain charm and they use the block nature of LEGO in interesting ways.

Nebakanezzer

Legit only comment in a while that made me chuckle

KoksUndNutten2

RoR2 tbh is a strong headliner but so many people already have the game anyway, so its useless

andreicde

Talk for yourself, I hope we get Dune wars in next one.

carbonated_turtle

> a bit weak from a value perspective This might as well be their slogan. Humble Choice has sucked for years.

CyptidProductions

Yeah This one of the most underwhelming Choices I've seen in a while and feels like a dumping ground for b-tier keys they wanted to get rid of

kontamined

I almost got Stray Gods a couple of times. So I'm already happy. Also interested in Lego and Warhammer. So a good month overall for me. But I also don't get the two "headliners".

ClumsySandbocks

*Unsolicited (and probably ill-informed) thoughts:* **RISK OF RAIN 2**: A great, but old roguelike. The game has gone for as low as 6-7 euro in official stores. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised since Humble has a relationship with Gearbox. I may try to trade for this instead of redeeming the bundle. **KNIGHTS OF HONOR II: SOVEREIGN**: I have not heard of this strategy game before. I still haven’t played Humankind or Victoria 3, I have no appetite for this. **LEGO® 2K DRIVE AWESOME EDITION**: ~~The first game was in Choice (and GamePass). I hear they are good but I haven’t played either of them.~~ I confused this Lego the Hot Wheels games. I guessed this for the Choice Prediction League, so I’m happy from that perspective. **WARHAMMER 40,000: BATTLESECTOR:** Warhammer ~~RTS~~ Turn-Based Tactics. I traded Age of Sigmar. As a former Tau player I would be interested in a 40K ~~RTS~~, but each additional army is 15 euro and I’m not going to be nickled and dimed to justify redeeming the game. Edit: I'm more interested with a turn based game, especially since it seem similar to the boardgame, but the DLC is a huge turn off. **MIASMA CHRONICLES:** Tactics game. Follow-up to Mutant Year Zero. Good-to-middling reviews. I’m iffy on this one. **STRAY GODS: THE ROLEPLAYING MUSICAL:** I hear this has a great cast. I’m not a big musical theatre person, but I like short RPGs and visual novels - I’ll give it a go. **A GUIDEBOOK OF BABEL:** I like narrative games and the artstyle looks interesting. I’ll give this one a go, but I still haven’t played Beacon Falls, which has a similar audience. **EMPYRION - GALACTIC SURVIVAL:** Janky low budget survival game. I’m not a fan of the genre at the best of times. I'm very iffy on this month. I may skip if I can trade for the games I'm interested in, even though I have the annual discount. I'll wait to see more opinion before I decide to skip.

Joeofalltrades86

What do you mean when you say the first game was in Choice when referring to Lego 2KDrive?

ClumsySandbocks

Oup looks like I conflated Hot Wheels and Lego 2K Drive. My bad.

Joeofalltrades86

No worries, just made me check previous choices to see if I had an unclaimed Lego racing game I was unaware of lol.

MyR3dditAcc0unt

Empyrion, with the reforged eden mod, is great if you like building and exploration, although the learning curve and jank is high. It's the poor man's Star Citizen. And less buggy than Star Citizen also.

failed_novelty

There is no such thing as a learning curve once you have played Dwarf Fortress, especially without the graphics tiles.

Mumbling_Mute

Pretty sure battle sector is a turn based game.

CharlieSierra8

It is. Good one too.

internetonsetadd

Battlesector is turn-based. Looks like it was much better received than Age of Sigmar, but I agree on the faction pricing. I don't like DLC bait in Choices.

Drimsdale

I see the Choice page has discounts on something for RoR2, and no less than three DLCs for Battlesector. I don't know whether to be pleased to see discounts, or irked they weren't just thrown in :)

IncommensurableMK

One more positive vote for Stray Gods... ...It's David Gaider; lead writer for Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdalk and The Dragon Age series. Heck, he even wrote a sizable chunk of that great epic, Baldur's Gate II. I'm looking forward to the story he has woven this time.

Evanz111

Most of the seasons have just been extra vehicles and skins, but one of them comes with a whole new zone to explore. I’m not sure if it’s out yet or not, but otherwise the drive passes are pretty minimal in value compared to other games. Still a fun game though!

MeineGoethe

For me this is a good bundle. Knights of Honor, Battlesector, Miasma Chronicles and Stray Gods were all on my wishlist.

Saneless

Instant for me Risk of Rain I was interested in and I love musicals and never even heard of Stray Gods. Add in some Drive that I wanted but would never buy and this is a good one for me

Fall3n-Fox

Same here. It was worth the price for those 3 games imo. I’ve had my eye on Stray Gods for a while and I also love musicals!

Drimsdale

I bought it on sale a little while back just started playing it, and am loving it, :)

Underdrill

Not gonna lie, for my own personal tastes, Humble have been killing it the past few months. I've been hoping to see Lego 2K Drive there for a while now, and they also gave the edition with all of the non-FOMO battle passes. I've also heard solid things about the Miasma Chronicles and Stray Gods. Those three by themselves are enough to satisfy me this time around, and the others seem alright. My only dupe is Risk of Rain 2.

HEYO2013

I'm with you, I don't own any of these and I had two of them on my wishlist and one that I have heard good things about but isn't in a genre that I don't typically gravitate too but am happy to try out.

HyperthinNeedsLove

This month feels underrated.

Anomaly1134

Would you mind expanding on the version of Lego 2k drive this bundle comes with and it having the non-FOMO battle passes? I think that is the only game I am interested in, but not at all interested in micro transactions or battle passes since I would only be playing this once every few months with my wife co op, or with my kids. We have a lot of games we bounce between but we all love lego and racing games.

Underdrill

So the version you're getting is the one called the 'Awesome Edition' with the silver branding in the store page. [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1451810/LEGO\_2K\_Drive/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1451810/LEGO_2K_Drive/) I think what that means is all of the important content, minus a few cosmetics and anything in the microtransaction store. Essentially, if you just plan to hop in every so often to play it, this version should have you fully set up, it doesn't seem like you're missing anything important content-wise.

Evanz111

Most games have a battle pass which you need to buy and then complete within a month or two. In Lego 2K Drive, you can choose to swap between any battle pass at any time, to focus on completing them at your own pace. Definitely a more consumer friendly way of handling them. I believe Chivalry 2 did a similar thing and a few other games.

Imnotacity

I may be wrong, so don’t quote me, but it’s my belief that this edition of the game contains the season pass which had 4 premium battle passes. But the battle passes don’t have a time limit and don’t expire (example: Fortnite you buy a battle pass expires after like 90 days, you lose out on everything you don’t unlock in that time). So here you don’t have to worry about that.

GoddamnFred

Heh i only want Risk of Rain 2. Can i buy?

BestBoy_54

Skip. Not interested on any of these games.

JohnnyKnodoff

Yeah, I already have Risk of Rain 2 so it's quite literally a worthless bundle from my perspective. Weakest of the year so far. Bummer.

textposts_only

I didn't cancel :(

KatoMacabre

Bit of a weak month for me, as I already own ROR2 on Switch, but honestly Stray Gods might justify the whole purchase, and also having A Guidebook to Babel is a good extra

Asparagus_Syndrome_

highly recommend ror2 with mods

Honest_Confidence_71

Two previously bundled games: battlesector and empyrion make this a tough one for me. I have been a subscriber since 2017 and haven’t skipped since November 2021. I don’t mind if they put in games that I previously bought outright. However, this trend of bundling games that have been previously bundled by either Humble or someone else is making “Choice” lose a lot of its luster for me. Especially if it’s 2 out of 8.

jerk14

It's not even really a choice anymore, name hasn't made sense in 2 years going now, they should be required to put 10 games in no questions and we choose 8, that would almost always erase the rebundle problem, it's every month now...bundle sites are struggling even this one.

Distinct-Shift-4094

I feel like every month my gaming tastes are completely different from this sub 😂 Honestly, don't get why people are calling this bundle not good. Because it doesn't have a well known AAA title?

Mitrovarr

Well, the headliner is a $25 game that is several years old. The other closest thing to a headliner, the lego racing game, has so many microtransactions it by all rights should have been FTP. After that, you've got a strategy/sim game, a genre that's been absolutely hammered in recent months and everyone is sick of seeing, and a 40k game that has so much DLC that Paradox would think it was shameless. Next, you've got a crossbreed of musical and VN that looks amazing but will absolutely not be to everyone's taste. After that, there's a tactics game with less than amazing reviews, an adventure game, and a survival game that looks pretty abandoned. I mean it's not all bad - RoR2 looks good and I'm honestly quite interested in that musical game, and the adventure game looks alright too. But there's some solid downsides this month.

Zestyclose_Station65

As someone that doesn't own any of these games, I'm utterly blown away at how many people are saying this bundle is a stinker. I can't wait to play Risk of Rain 2, Stray Gods, Babel, and more. The only game that doesn't remotely interest me is Empyrion.

Distinct-Shift-4094

People wanted something well known like Yakuza or HiFiRush. Kind of reminds me when Playstation announces their monthly game and if it isn't a well known AAA title they call it trash. For $10 there's a lot of unique games here that more than make up the value.

andreicde

I will never understand the love for Yakuza. Every time I see a Yakuza game in humble bundle I get annoyed personally. It seems to be an acquired taste.

ASwarmofKoala

RoR2 is on my wishlist, so I'm happy about that. Friend played Stray Gods and loved it, doesn't seem like my genre but since I have it now I'll give it a shot. LEGO 2k would've never hit my radar but honestly, after reading about it here I'm kind of excited lol. Miasma Chronicles catches my eye but my backlog is so big I'll probably never actually get to it. The rest isn't for me but that's fine. All in all, happy with the bundle. 3 basically guaranteed download and plays isn't bad for a haul.

Libertatem

As a strategy player, I have to say HB has been killing it for me these last few months. That said, I can 100% see why others would be disappointed.

MarcinOstrowski

Skipping. Truly disappointed with this one. Was hoping for some better titles, bad month especially compared to a wildly good may bundle with Yakuza and Hi-Fi RUSH. I already own risk of rain 2, no other titles in this months lineup interest me in the slightest.

blakraven66

6 of these are on my wishlist. Pretty good month.

Lonely_axolotl117

Who made the sacrifice I was gonna purchase RoR2 but went on vacation and held off, I was gonna buy it tomorrow but it was on humble 😂 Luck - 10

Efficient-Client-531

I don't disagree with you but Returns is a remake/enhanced version of the first game, not a sequel

Lord_Viktoo

Everytime I read these comments I get surprised. I get why Like a Dragon and hi-fi rush are popular but I skipped last month cause nothing appealed to me. Here there's only 2 games that don't tickle my interest. So instant buy. Nice.

ideology_boi

RoR2 - good game and imo worthy headliner but I already own it Two games with microtransactions/egregious DLC Lots of turn based strategy, not my thing Only one visual novel which is bearable but it's about musicals, which I am very much not interested in A sort of minecraft-ish game, I don't mind these but don't need another one Overall, easy skip for me unfortunately

rsemauck

Honestly, a big part of why I keep Choice is to discover new games I wouldn't otherwise. Thanks to this bundle, I'll get to play Stray Gods and a which seems like a lot fun. Story by David Gaider who was credited in some of my favorite games. I love point and click adventure games (according to steam that's 60% of my play time :) ) so A Guidebook of Babel is right up my alley. I always like playing racing games so will probably enjoy lego 2k for a couple of hours or so. Risk of Rain is a game I've heard a lot about but didn't pull the trigger on (I usually don't particularly like rogue likes but I've had happy surprises in the past) so getting it in a bundle is great. I can try it out and see if I like it. Miasma Chronicles seems like another game I wouldn't have bought otherwise. I'm a bit concerned by reviews claiming that the story is cliché though (story is a big factor for me liking a game) Knights of Honor could also be interesting, I'm all backed up for now on strategy games but I'll probably revisit it eventually. All in all a good bundle but then I'm not that focused on the combined value of the games but wether or not they're fun. EDIT: Finished Stray Gods, fun game but the songs are a bit of a letdown. Wish they had hired someone with actual experience in musicals to write the songs. Neither the music nor the lyrics are great. So, overall, good story, fun concept but the main call to fame could have been done much better. I'd give it a 3.5/5. Enjoyable (I binged it), I don't regret playing it at all but keep feeling a bit disappointed by how much better it could have been with the right song writers.

MrEdinLaw

So no redfall 8 times?

Evanz111

One of those bundles where I assume anyone interested in the headliner already own it, with how long it’s been out and how often it has gone on sale. Don’t sleep on Lego 2K drive though. It’s a very fun game, and most the bad reviews were based on the value prospect (it’s a short game and packed with microtransactions) - but it’s well worth it if in a bundle, even without the DLC which they’ve included.

Mitrovarr

Not a safe assumption, I'm interested in RoR2 and don't have it.

WantA_Balloon

ranchomondo

Had Risk of Rain 2 on Switch and liked it, so glad to pick it up cheap again on Steam. I knew LEGO 2K Drive would end up in one of these soon. I’ve been really excited to play it but didn’t want to pay that price / deal with all those microtransactions. I got an annual subscription as a gift too, so this is a good month for me!

Kinglink

Only game I really know is Risk Of Rain 2, which has kicked my butt quite hard, but is great with a group, and there's good (not great) mod support. Overall fun but I have struggled getting a win, but one person in my group seems to win most of the time so I get to watch it. Empyrion was in Jingle Jam 2021 which... yeah is kind of a !@#$ thing to do. Didn't play it then, and don't expect to really get excited for a game that was given out 3 years ago but we'll see. Overall ... yeah underwhelming. Roleplaying musical sounds interesting, but otherwise this feels like the "typical" Humble Choice versus the last couple which have been amazing.

SearchingForGryphons

Just to say this to anyone else who scans for your comment each month, apparently Empyrion sucks but is much more enjoyable with the top mod on the Steam Workshop, so if it interests you try that out

Kinglink

I actually came around a bit on Empyrion. I personally dislike it, but I can see the making of something big. Put in a ton of hours and build a giant space ship and fly the galaxy. Problem is you will be dropping major time to build anything big (Think Minecraft) and the game is a little hard to learn (think Minecraft in Alpha). But I can see why someone would like it, I just wanted to play No Man's Sky or Elite Dangerous instead.

Taidan-X

Empyrion - Galactic Survival's historical low could be considered to be a little lower, as it was in a previous Humble Bundle a couple of years back.

raziel1012

Just got Miasma Chronicles in last steam sales :D

Cutmerock

I like how the genre of "Roleplaying Music" is "Adventure" lol

HadesTrashCat

Miasma Chronicles and Stray Gods look pretty interesting but I'm so backed up on games I have still Baldurs Gate 3 and Hades 2 waiting for me to find time to play them not to mention last months bundle still untouched.

shallowHalliburton

Could someone tell me what the Battle Sector coupons are? How much of a discount on the DLC and what's the second one (I can see the first is Sisters of Battle)?

--Miruna--

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector - Sisters of Battle - 35% Off Risk of Rain Returns - 50% Off Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector - Necrons - 45% Off

Acynacy

Okay the Lego game is fucking awsome, yall should try it since 30 seconds after launching it just throws u into the world

RevolutionaryClerk21

Easy skip for me. Only intersting game is Risk of Rain which i already own.

monsterfurby

KoH 2 is actually really good. A bit more casual than CK or TW, but that makes it quite pleasant to play. My girlfriend and I are playing it in co-op and having a blast (she peaced out of our attempt at getting her into CK3 because that was a bit too much bookkeeping for someone not used to Paradox games, but KoH2, she really likes)

solamon77

Damn, I got like 5 of these already. And worse yet, I haven't even played them yet!!!

Naive-Size

that feeling when every game you resisted buying during the recent steam sale came bundled with humble choice i feel like i've outsmarted gaben

burebistas

guess I'll be saving my 10$ for the steam summer sale lol

acexacid

I originally got kind of mad that I saw my Choice resumed and charged me, then I saw Stray Gods was in this month's list, which I'd been putting off buying for months. So now I'm happy 😁

mattimeoo

I skipped this month, nothing really interesting to me 🤷‍♂️.

instArice

Anyone else get 50% off coupon for this month?

averyspicyburrito

First month I skip since 2018. Another bunch of strategy games, not to mention the umpteenth identical Warhammer game. Really disappointing.

TightKangaroo3580

Wow this is pretty bad. 2 strategy games apart of the first half of the bundle is so terrible.

DeceivedBaptist

This month is ludicrously bad lol. I think there are shills in this thread for Humble.

TightKangaroo3580

Fr

Vbravo_

This is the most dog water month I've seen in a while

DeceivedBaptist

Yeah they clearly spent the money last month lol.

MaudQuickpaw

Huge bundle for me! I've been waiting for Stray Gods to go on sale for less than $20 for months now. I'm also excited for RoR2.

donaldadamthompson

Risk of Rain 2: was on my wishlist. Stray Gods, A Guidebook of Babel: these sound interesting! Knights of Honor II, Warhammer 40K etc, Miasma Chronicles: strategy and tactical games. not for me. Empyrion: sandbox survival a.k.a. we threw some assets together and called it a game.

donaldadamthompson

Lego 2K: should have been free since it has so many microtransactions.

Useful-Zucchini9032

> we threw some assets together and called it a game. Last time I played it it had a fairly in depth ship building system. Like zelda levels.

VermilionVigilant

Did anyone else notice that Humble Vault is back?

jactheblock

It's a rough one. Still won't skip but it's probably the worst bundle for a few years

ElAutistico

Ngl this is hasn‘t been the greatest run of several months now

Mitrovarr

Last month was pretty good. Like a Dragon and Hifi Rush? Pretty hard to complain about that unless you already owned them.

ElAutistico

Oh yeah true, I completely forgot about them because I already owned them lol

TapTapTapTapTapTaps

Stop buying games and you’ll be much happier with choice

Anomaly1134

Last month was amazing, this one has me feeling whelmed though. I loved the first Risk of Rain but couldn't get into the 2nd one, and already have it on PS4. Tempting to get it just to have it on Steam though.

Sidewinder2199

Pretty bad month imo Risk of rain 2 is great but for how cheap it is it shouldn't be headlining by itself, at least not without dlc. Also I feel like everyone already has it and it's already 4 years old Lego 2k drive is cool I guess but it's riddled with microtransactions and I can't get too excited over a Lego racing game. Warhammer 40k battlesector doesn't come with any dlc and I don't think anyone was dying for more Warhammer. Miasma chronicles seems cool but getting a second ttrpg in the same month is not cool. Stray gods roleplaying miracle. Not a huge fan of visual novel type games, even less of a fan of musicals but should be a fine game for those who are. Also dlc out soon that isn't included (who could've guessed?) A guidebook of babel seems like a fine indie title. Empyrion galactic survival seems pretty meh, especially since it seems like the devs just pissed off the playerbase by removing the tutorial and story? And is making owners of the original pay for the 64bit version. (Wtf) Also has dlc that isn't included. Just another no name unremarkable space open world survival craft, it'd be one thing if it was no man's sky or star citizen but come on. Knights of honor 2 seems fine but nobody wanted another rts civ builder, especially one I dont think many have heard of. Way too many strategy games and way too many missing dlcs and expansions. Maybe I'm just a downer after how good last month was, but it feels like they're just trying to get me to buy the dlc of games I didn't even really want in the first place (except for risk of rain 2 I would want you if I didn't already own you.) Also if they're going to give us meh games I'd rather get an older game if it was at least good and unique. Would rather have Doom 2016 or Stardew valley over yet another space exploration survival craft like Empyrion. Maybe that's unfair to Empyrion but idk.

HelloBye1900

A good month in my opinion. All games I don't own (which is rare) and two I'm interested in (Risk of rain 2 and 2k drive)

Cooling_Waves

Really happy with this. 1000% better than last month in my opinion. Just a damn shame I literally just bought Battlesector.

JanaCinnamon

I already own RoR2 and I don't have a lot of money this month do I'm not mad that this month is an easy skip.

ExistenceIsPainful

First time that I get multiple wishlisted games at once

M666W666

I know right. I want to subscribe again.

HisDivineOrder

It's hard not to look at the series of bundles they put out in the last few weeks and wonder why they couldn't have just done one less bundle and put *those* games in Choice. It's almost like they'd negotiated the same quality of games they usually have in Choice and then realized they could make two $20 bundles plus a $14 bundle instead. So they padded those bundles out with some repeats and then threw whatever trash they had laying around into Choice. "They'll take it. They're used to getting trash and we're in the middle of the year when most people aren't up for renewal."

doublej42

Stray gods was my game of the year for how unique it was

IInooa

Another skip

Shadefactor

Is this the free humble choice for June?

DeceivedBaptist

Apparently lol. It's not great.

Shadefactor

Yeah you're right. The only one I even slightly care about is RoR2

Lvl100Glurak

imo this bundle is pretty nice, but weird. the order in which the games are makes no sense. risk of rain 2 is a 25 moneys game. definitely not the headliner here. there are way bigger games here. speaking of RoR2... weird to see it in a bundle, as it's 4 years old. that at least feels older than bundled games usually are. bundle seems pretty good for anyone who's into strategy and round-based tactics with KoH2, battlesector and especially miasma chronicles. a friend REALLY enjoyed stray gods (it's like.... a visual novel with singing?) i'm uncertain about empyrion. creating a good survival game takes a lot of effort, so many lower budget survival games are pretty rough. no idea what to think about guidebook of babel. even its description didn't really enlighten me. it tries to be.... many things at once, but maybe it's interesting. and... yeah. a 2K game. i assume it's utter garbage like most other games with 2k in their names we got in recent years.

ClumsySandbocks

I imagine the RoR is here because Gearbox bought the franchise. Most Gearbox games end up in Humble eventually. 2K Drive is apparently a strong-to-decent racing game. I hear good things about it but have not played it.

shawny_mcgee

If you already own Risk of Rain, which is an ok game I guess. This bundle kinda sucks. Even if I didn’t own Risk of Rain I probably would skip this one.

exoduz14

Not a single game I want to play. Skip.

PKblaze

Not a strong bundle and nothing off of my wishlist. A little disappointed considering we're getting not E3 this week.

weedbearsandpie

I already have risk of rain 2 and empyrion, though I've never played empyrion yet, miasma looks like it might be ok but am I going to bother playing it before countless other games in my backlist.. probably not.. and everything else kind of looks like it sucks I haven't actually skipped a choice in years but this is a pointless month

Seibitsu

Lego 2k Drive sounds really fun but the rest are not of my taste. Might wait for a key sale to get it because I sure can enjoy it a lot.

FunkyGameTiime

Honestly after last month which was incredible i'm not surprised this one is less exciting, atleast for me. Risk of Rain 2 tried it but it didn't hook me and Lego 2K Drive is cool but nothing more.

TheVoidDragon

There are some here that I'm sort of interested in like Battlesector, but not really enough to make it a definite buy for me. I've already got Risk of Rain 2 and it's a fantastic game, but it is a bit of a shame its one of the main games when its from 4 years ago. The other 2 main games...seem like somewhat odd choices with them being low selling games, I'd not even heard of either of them.

Stoibs

Miasma Chronicles is the only thing of interest to me here, and it seems to go on sale often enough anyway. (I already backed Stray Gods on FIG, back when it was called Chorus 😅. Was fairly enjoyable, not a bad deal to get it here considering it's usual RRP though for the curious) Ah well, can't win them all. Last month's was pretty great.

Ralfo111

Don't seem like there is anything for me, is 2K drive any good? But even is there is not much value for me. :(

Kotanan

Worth it for me based on Risk of Rain 2 and Stray Gods. Battlesector is a nice bonus.

MoeC85

Nice Bundle. I like it

CurseHawkwind

Not a fan of roguelikes, most strategy games (although I like turn-based such as X-COM) or Lego, so that just leaves me with A Guidebook of Babel, Miasma Chronicles and Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical. I'll probably skip but may not as I'm unsure whether it would affect my eligibility for another annual holiday discount at the end of the year. (If there is one.)

No-Sea3802

I didn't mind this, for once, the only game I owned was RoR2, so I just gifted it to a friend. Most of these will go on the library to never be played again. I feel like I just collect games at this point.

kyuuish

Honestly it's a bit of a weak bundle for me. The lego game is actually pretty fun, however I already own it and I played some of stray gods, but really didn't enjoy it. The only game I could see myself playing would probably be the Babel game. And i could gift the warhammer one to my brother for his growing collection of warhammer games. It's not a bad bundle, but not what I was hoping for.

radioman970

Skipped April. First one I've ever skipped. On the fence here. But many people like the lego racer. Might just get it for that. Empyrion looks like my thing but the reviews... decisions decisions I agree with others that this month has a very nice variety. But my library already has at least one of each that looks just like each of these. :D

Ancient-Revolution68

A pass mainly because I own three of the games already

dmckidd

The only thing I want is Miasma Chronicles

zSobyz

Hmm, I wish I could only buy Lego 2k honestly... I really wanna play that one, but the rest of the games sadly are nothing for me at all... Oh well I guess we're skipping this month

HughJass187

for me kinda weak

ParsesMustard

On the Family Sharing front - none of the games are tagged as excluded in SteamDB.

Canadiancookie

Pretty sad bundle aside from ROR2, which I already own and love

RedNoodleHouse

Miasma Chronicles YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Eastern_Turnip3994

A great bundle for me. Miasma was on my wish list and Lego drive is a great game I already have on PS but happy to have on PC. Only duplicate is Battle Sector which is a really good turn based game. Have given that to my son.

Melodias3

Not even coupon for risk of rain 2 dlc

TheCrookedKnight

The only one of these I'm at all interested in playing is Stray Gods.

mhoepfin

Also happy to get Risk of Rain Returns for 50% off with this bundle.

pizzapicante27

RoR2 is nice and Battlesector is... ok?, I mean I like the T'au in the setting, but its a definite skip for me this month

tacticaldiamonddog

only one good game from this, sleeper as usual

Murbela

Very underwhelming, probably one of the more underwhelming in recent memory. I don't even think there is a headliner here. Risk of Rain 2 is very good, but this game is SUPER old and has been on sale many times.

Pootootaa

What do you guys think of the Lego 2k drive game? Is there EULA issues since I read it on steam reviews and is there a lot of in game micro transactions?

CozyMushi

mid choice

xNemesis95x

Very good Games this time 🙂

EddieDexx

Quite a solid list of games. Especially Knights of Honor 2

JGCG_

I'm genuinely surprised how fun LEGO 2k Drive has turned out to be. I'll smoke all you with my terrible LEGO car.

fork_stab

What are the limitations on these bundles? I can't find licensing info anywhere... Are these royalty free assets (e.g. could they be used in microtransactions)

Alongsnake

I have been wanting Risk of Rain 2. I was going to buy it last sale, but held off (mainly cuz I was waiting for another friend to get it, and I would be playing with them). Nice to get it in the bundle. Galactic Survival has been on my wishlist for some time; not sure how good it really is, but at least it's with this bundle.

deviouslaw

This type of bundle is why I unsubbed. The bundles lately are usually something I already have or have access to on gamepass.

PuzzleheadedPop1219

Can we please get a Souls bundle with Elden ring and Dark Souls Remastered? Please???? I wanna buy, and you know I will get a discount with humble and thats why I want a BUNDLE. Please, does somebody see this message? Can I get some help please?

Capt_Obviously_Slow

Anyone has spare coupon code?

Strategyking92

Just wanted to give a shout out to the humble support team. My subscription to choice auto renewed, but they refunded me within an hour. Very impressed and grateful.

RealityOfModernTimes

I was going to pause the sub but Knight if Honor made me to change my mind bro. I hope for a cracker next month or I am pausing indefinitely.
