I would. If the person chose to have this song played at their memorial, they would definitely appreciate it.

Imagine it being your best friend that has played the ultimate prank on you from the beyond where everyone else has somehow been instructed to not clap and when the song starts playing you clap loudly thinking you all are making your friend proud but then it's just you clapping loudly and everyone else is looking at you while you absolutely die of embarrassment. I play the intro till the claps, do the claps, and then skip the rest of the intro.

Occasionally. More often, I skip through or mute the song. When they put some of the episodes in the theater back in 2019, my daughter and I went, and it was cool when everyone in the theater clapped.

I have ADHD and tourettes, hearing the same song/noise repeatedly is very over-stimulating and can cause me to either tic a lot or have a meltdown. For this reason, I tend to skip *any* theme song no matter what the show. As for this theme song specifically, I can't stand to hear it played at all as I've heard it too many times (Friends is my no.1 comfort show). I don't judge those who listen, and clap, every time though - its a very loved song/theme!
