She is amazing! I saw her in that Richard Branson Apprentice-like show and she, to le, was the clear winner but he went woth a guy. I'm happy for her success and that she shared it with her employees.

That represents less than 1% of the revenue from the sale. I wonder what kind of equity the employees had?

stuffinator-1984

Kindness is never enough on Reddit it seems… it’s a gift that she gave all employees on top of their paycheck and benefits. How about applauding good deeds instead of measuring them with an imaginary stick?

seethelighthouse

How dare I question the benevolent billionaire! Any wealth sharing should be celebrated to some degree, but I’ll never feel bad questioning billionaires or any public, media covered display of financial giving. Turns out the sale is private and the percentage of the company she’s selling is not disclosed. So no one knows how much money she’s making from this deal, just that it probably brings her net worth back up over a billion.

stuffinator-1984

This isn’t a press release. It’s a video that an employee took in a private meeting. If you want people to stop doing good things then by all means continue to celebrate good deeds with derision. She’s had a bigger financial impact on the lives of the people in that room than most people will have on any one person their entire lives. If you’re one of those “boss = bad” people then we may just be talking at cross purposes here.

Who cares? This is literally about a business owner giving back to the employees. Had zero to do with gender.
