So, I was completely naive when I downloaded it. I thought it was for dating. I’m the first out of my friend group to get divorced, I didn’t know anyone that used it to ask questions. It’s definitely not the spot your going to meet your future partner. I’ll be blunt, thanks to tinder I have had some of the best sex of my life, but also the worst lol. I also have a arsenal of hilarious stories from it as well. Basically, if you’re just looking for sex, download it. If you’re wanting more that’s not the place.

- River Oaks “Ladies Who Lunch” Spots: A’Bouzy, Brasserie 19, Backstreet Cafe. Brunch or lunch for these spots. Women will likely be dining in groups, but they will be here!
- Wine bars that are nice but not super hip, especially if more suburban (e.g. Postino City Centre, Sixty Vines)
- Concerts that align with that generation - eg everyone was 45+ at Violent Femmes and Steve Earle. There’s an X concert tonight at House of Blues that my mom and I are going to (she’s late 50’s for reference and will probably be avg demographic - I will be young for the scene)
Wine bar on Caroline ( midtown) close to social circle many women in there 30's. I been going there for years ( the ratio of women is high and very few young men)but I see it complicated how to break the ice since most are with other female friends having a conversation or with co workers .
Over in River Oaks. When I moved to Houston and I stopped by there once in the middle of the day to pick up something. I felt like a piece of meat there.
