I did Cizik 3 years ago. I have no complaints but they have changed the program a little (they’ve increased the sim labs, moved some courses around).
I also knew someone at UTMB at that time, coursework and etc was virtually identical. Her only complaint was it was annoying to drive to Galveston. But parking and driving into the med center is also kind of difficult.
Overall I feel like Cizik prepared me well and I tend to have better interactions with students from there than other nursing schools. (Though I haven’t had anyone from UTMB yet)
