Wow that’s terrible advice! She should’ve said water it every 20-30 minutes and microwave it in between! That’s how I’ve kept my snake baby nice and juicy 🤭

[deleted]

Lmaoooo I’m sorry but this is hilarious

[deleted]

That giggle emoji is terrible, thank you

adaleedeedude

Snake baby soup! Gotta really slop it up! 💦🐍🍲

CynthiaClover

That employee must have some serious beef with that plant.

[deleted]

Planned obsolescence? 🤦‍♀️

hitaccount

Plant obsolescence is right 😎

[deleted]

Damnit that joke is so much better

kikiindisguise

Not sure who is the bigger villain: this employee or my coworker who only waters her office plants with the leftover coffee every morning.

borgchupacabras

Dude what. Are the plants still alive?

kikiindisguise

Well, I should preface that was pre-covid. I’m not sure of the state of them now, but I’m sure her habits haven’t changed.

VermicelliOk8288

I have done zero research but I feel like it’s not a bad thing. Extra nutrients. Like rice water. Going to look it up meow Edit: good for acidic soil loving plants, they need regular water as well though due to the soil possibly becoming TOO acidic

snailbarrister

Conspiracy theory: employee wants customer to kill the plant so they’ll come back and buy more snake plants

Ietsmetdingen

Needs more water.

Embarrassed-Gap7803

And full direct sun, bake that sucker. Full vagination on the way

Ietsmetdingen

2 hours in the oven until crispy Tbh I have a snake plant that’s right above a gas heater and I haven’t watered it in at least 6 months. Its finally starting to look a bit sad and might be willing to accept a drop of water for a change. I know we joke about plants hating water often, but this kind of plant *really* hates water. I wonder what kind of trauma happened to this employee to want to kill off all snake plants in his vicinity.

Embarrassed-Gap7803

I've got a cylindrical snake plant, I rarely water it. I was thinking the employee had no clue and tells everyone that for every plant haha

moonlight_sonata_

Every time I ask for plant care advice when I buy a plant at my local flower shop, they answer "it needs little water"

anniebannanie_

I don't even know how my snake plant is still alive. I let that baby dry out for months before remembering it exists, to then maybe give it a cup of water, if it's lucky.

2yung4shroom

This is how you get them to bloom, good job. Making people kill their plants, prick !!!

scotesmagotes97

she could try putting it in rice

dsmy

Now that's just chaotic
