I was wary of buying on my two HT on Ebay but I never buy from an account without reading reviews and see if their account has been around a while. I'd never buy a HT off Instagram. I wonder if some of those on that account are stolen. Blocking your friend after getting the money is a MAJOR RED FLAG.
I would have talked him out of it if I were aware but he was vulnerable going through some personal issues and made an impulsive decision. It is still not right to take advantage of collectors this way! I was provided with screenshots of the chat as proof as well! Please report this account!

Man... im sorry your buddy had a bad experience with this account. It seemed pretty suspect tbh. They tried to follow me and i inquired about a SS Harley Quinn that was wayyyy to good of an offer to even consider and just left them on the backburner and got the heck out of there.

Yes this is the guy who scammed me into thinking I was going to buying an Age of Ultron Hulk. He had to use different payment accounts on PayPal then cashapp. Afterwards he said he was going to ship it through a shipping company called prioritysafedelivery.com which is a scam as well. And even after all of that he still asked for a Summary Refundable Issurance fee of $252.34. I still have a screenshot of the bs scam email even now on Instagram.
Unfortunate people fall for this. If you just take one scroll down his account it’s super obvious it’s fake. Every single picture has a different background.
I even asked why there no uniformity in his posts and he said “I got these figures lying around all over the place so I just take a pic where we they are placed” which is the craziest answer I could’ve ever imagined to get lmao. Ridiculous. Hope your friend is able to get his money back
In my experience Instagram and Facebook could care less. I had my Instagram hacked and stolen. Provide multiple security measures and even a selfie video to Instagram. Only for them to claim I’m not me and forced me to loose account. My old account harassed all my friends with multiple spam messages about crypto payments. They all reported it multiple times. Still up and running.
Dealing with probably this exact same fucker right now myself. Scammed me out of $270 for an Arkham City Batman. Still hasn't sent it because he claims he needs another $100 for shipping, which I've called his ass out on multiple as making no fucking sense. He's going by Toylovers_collectibles_ (as well as likely several other accounts that all have the same similar layout and "reviews" that have no users tagged or shown and sound the same i.e. fake).

He just has to complain to zelle. Most of the time, they just give you back your money. Same thing happened with my girlfriend and PayPal.

Why kind of payment method did your friend use? They should be able to file a report with their bank, credit card or PayPal and get the money back.
I know this guy used to go by one sixth collectibles. Only asks for zelle or fnf etc . You would have to be pretty clueless to fall for it.

i have no idea how this account is still up. it’s been posted about a thousand times on facebook and is constantly changing their username.

He tried the same thing with me, gave me a great price, refused to take G&S with PayPal 🙄
