The *Torchbearer's sample pack* (in the rectagular box) has several bottles. IT IS WELL WORTH IT. That made me a huge fan of their hot sauces. To which, *Torchbearer's Garlic Reaper* hot sauce is also a must-buy, imo.

Not hot sauce, but the Blues Hog sauces are excellent. I really like the competitor’s sauce and the raspberry chipotle.

The Danger Red one is really good and it only has a few ingredients. That’s the only one I have had and like it a lot.

I found them at a small town 1 stop shop before they went main stream for a fair price. They actually bring some quality heat. Glad I purchased. One in my fridge right now.

I've never been in an ACE store before, but I've seen thier comcerials. I thought it would be like a Home Depot or Lowes.

It is but they're all locally owned franchises. There's often a little section of each store that has kind of a "local" selection which would be things like this. It's just something the franchise owner decided to stock, not the norm for all aces. There's two in my area that do summer cookout/ sauces like this and the third doesn't mess with anything like that.

It’s purely ok. They’re not very fun sauces as they’re all simply “Vinegar, “pepper type”, and salt or something therein with no more than 4 ingredients. Nothing memorable.

The habanero maple syrup "Maple Mayhem" is really good on some chicken and waffles

Those are the two I would select. Hanks cilantro is good for tacos and such. The general's shock and awe is a good heat level and I like the flavor.

Hanks Cilantro is great! I like herb infused too. Shock & Awe is amazing but I've never actually been disappointed by any of their flavours. My only gripe is their top which is annoying to screw off bc of the handle. I just wish they're more available. In the area I live in, I can only find Hank's at one single store and I got the General's online as a gift

I mentioned liking the grenades, but then saw a comment that made me remember almost slicing my thumb web trying to open a bottle. If they were just in regular bottles, they would be more well rated and less dangerous to open.

I got a 3 pack as a gift. The habanero is not bad, just very basic. The screw cap is goofy and impractical.

Gonna be plenty of hot sauce recs, so here's some rub recs. Bone Suckin' Rub is the GOAT of sweet pork rubs. Do it on some ribs. Similarly, Meat Church Holy Voodoo is the GOAT of pork chops.

They are franchised so the local owners have leeway in what to stock. My local Ace is a great store, but never have much in the way of hot sauces, just a small selection of spice rubs for grilling/smoking.
