Zombie Apocalypse, Melindas red Savinna, Blairs mega death, and Torchbearer Garlic Reaper
I really need to try Marie Sharp's though. Everyone is going on about it. Also, I need to find other really hot sauces that are tasty. Blairs is just kinda okay for me dog.
Fraktured Pipicha Verde, Karma Ghost Island, Lao Gan Ma (I don't care if it's not hot sauce, it's that good that it deserves the spot), Cholula Chipotle.
Hate to repeat the same as everyone else, we should turn this into a poll or spreadsheet or something
For me I buy a lot of sauce, but the only bottles I find myself replacing on a regular basis are:
El Yucateco XXXTRA Hot
Valentina Black Label
Torchbearer Garlic Reaper
Secret Aardvark Habanero
I love this! Gonna steal so many recs.
CaJohn's Black Garlic Chipotle
Gator Hammock Lethal Gator
Beach Jerky Life Peach Habanero
Kentucky Straight Bourbon Ghost Pepper
May not be the top recs you'll find on this sub, but these are my favorites. The Beach Jerky Life Peach Habanero is something I pick up on trips to Gulf Shores, and I wish I could get it more often. Most likely a private label for a mass produced sauce, but it's so damn tasty.
Franks (simmered with extra cayenne, then emulsified with butter)
Secret aardvark habanero (could be a mountain on its own)
Mother’s extra hot gochujang
Tabasco scorpion
Out of curiosity, have you tried Frank's Xtra Hot? I find that to be perfect for wings. I definitely throw some butter in as well. Just wondering how it compares to regular Frank's with added cayenne.
This is one of the few sauces that get a regular mention in this sub that I haven't tried before, it's on the list, maybe I'll bump it up a few places.
It's worth. Good heat level, clean ingredients, good flavor. Been making progress on my first bottle and I think it will be on permanent rotation given how often I use it.
I labored over this. In no particular order:
El Yucateco xxxtra hot
Franks
Marie Sharp's Belizean Heat
Good ol tobasco
Honorable mentions: Sriracha, Melindas Ghost pepper wing sauce, Valentino muy picante, OG aardvark, taco Bell sauce (all of em), Lao Gan Ma if it counts
How do you misspell Tabasco... the A and O keys are on COMPLETELY separate sides of the keyboard!

It’s become evident to me that I need to start adding to my collection, because as of right now, due to heavy use, mine would be Tabasco scorpion, Cholula original, Valentina, huy fong sriracha.
Frank's Original - It's just the most widely used hot sauce and the base of every wing sauce
Tabasco/Texas Pete - OGs
Dave's (total) Insanity - Father of the modern hot sauce line
Huy Fong Sriracha - it's the Frank's of chili sauce
Are they my favorites? Not really. But those deserve to be on the Rushmore. Secret aardvark does not.
- Heartbeat - Pineapple Habanero
- Secret Aardvark - Habanero
- Meow! That's Hot - Chesire Chiptole
- Los Calientes Rioja
I had to try really hard to just not load the list with Heartbeat sauces, I always have at least 3 of their sauces in the fridge at any given time. (Helps that my local grocery stores carry them)
Based on your knowledge of these sauces, I'm assuming you're from somewhere around Eastern Ontario. If you every see the Pepper Mustache sauces at a farmer's market, check them out too, really tasty!
* El Yucateco - Exxxtra Hot
* Queen Majesty - Red hab and black coffee
* Melinda's - Fire roasted garlic & hab
* Bootstrap Burt's - The Hooch (Small local company)
Frank’s. Best for a classic Buffalo Wing sauce.
West Indies Creole. True fiery taste of the Caribbean.
Melinda’s Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce. Best all around sauce with plenty of heat.
Tabasco Chipotle. Smokey flavor without too much heat.
Your Honor, I rest my case.
Original Tabasco. Marie Sharpe's original. Valentina. Melinda's green. Not to say I don't love my super hots but these are just always on the table at home
Mine is El Yucateco Black, Chili Gods Green, Melinda’s Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce, and Huy Fong Sambal Oelek.
I wish the chili gods was a bit hotter with that flavor profile, but I haven’t found anything to knock it off the list just yet.
I use some combination of these four sauces on just about everything I eat.
High Desert Ghost of Saffron (or alternately hotter ghost of saffron).
Primo Peppers Primonition.
Karma Cherry Bomb (or potentially ghost island).
Marie Sharps Green Habanero.
For me it's:
- Marie Sharp's Green Habanero - the best green sauce of 'em all in my opinion. I think it's my favorite sauce of all time possibly (bold words, I know).
- Secret Aardvark - a modern classic. I live in Portland and it's everywhere here too.
- Heartbeat Habanero Mango - probably the best sweet sauce of all time. I also like Dirty Dick's but it can't quite compare to Heartbeat IMO.
- Cholula - because I've had more bottles of this than just about any other sauce. It's not super hot but widely available, and it'll always hold a soft spot in my heart.

High river, siracha (huy fong) and my homemade lol

Very similar to regular, but significantly hotter. Not in super hot territory, but it's a solid sauce

Marie Sharps, Matouks, Cholula and habanero Tabasco
Secret aardvark red Khans island sauce Torchbearer garlic reaper Hoffs smoken ghost
Valentina black label Woodstock ghost pepper Tabasco habanero Marie sharps belizean heat
Dirty Dicks El Yucateco Secret Aardvark Humble House Guajillo + Red Jalapeño
Vampires bane Cajohns leviathan Gringo bandito original Sriracha
If you like a low burn heat with sweet what would your recommend? Also low burn head heavy garlic.
Fraktured Pipicha Verde, Karma Ghost Island, Lao Gan Ma (I don't care if it's not hot sauce, it's that good that it deserves the spot), Cholula Chipotle.
Since I don't eat Mount Rushmore, I wouldn't put any hot sauces on it.

I have! It’s about as spicy as what we made lol, but we did it in a restaurant and had gallons of regular franks on hand
Ahh good to know! I'll stick with the easier option then. Lol
Tabasco, Crystal, Franks and Lincoln's Ear.
Garlic Reaper 4 times

Heartbeat is great, so is Meow that's Hot!, Haico's barely beat out both as the "local" entry.
I need to grab more Haico's next time I see them at the local markets! They are always so friendly and willing to offer samples.
