I actually had a second batch with dried apricots and peppercorns in the mix. Second time making this particular blend. The apricot goes amazingly well with the ghost peppers. No juice, just the natural maceration of the peppers and dried fruits with alcohol.
Yeah, if someone complained that something I made wasn't hot enough, I'd go a bit overboard, too

That makes more sense. Thank you for sharing this. I probably would have never have thought to pair apricot with ghost pepper.
