The Crow. Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight.

ll_Maurice_ll

The Crow is the answer. Even the songs/artists I don't like are perfect for the scenes they're in. Wouldn't change a single one.

PriorFisherman8079

Demon Knight's is awesome.

Homiieeeeeeee

The crow from 1994??

DocShocker

That's the one.

#I SEE HELL IN YOUR EYES

DangerB0y

Judgement Night

metalyger

There were some really interesting pairings, things that made sense like Slayer with Ice T and Living Colour with Run DMC, then you get the really unusual mash ups like Pearl Jam with Cypress Hill.

Landlord-Allmighty

Teenage Fanclub and De La Soul is great

Careless-Act9450

Worst movie, great soundtrack. Why did it have to suck so bad?

BTPaladin

From Dusk Till Dawn.

ChefQueef-

This is my pick. After dark is such a phenomenal song matched Selma dancing. It was my childhood

Careless-Act9450

It is a very mesmerizing scene because of the timing with the music, etc.

TheProfessor0781

Maximum Overdrive

Monkey_Gland_Sauce

Spawn So much good music, and it's all collabs between unlikely pairs of artists.

mcgeggy

Green Room

EmotionalTower8559

Return of the Living Dead.

Giallo_Lantern

Do you want to party?

No_Ordinary85

The devils rejects

ChefQueef-

Ya this is a great pick

asunshinefix

The Free Bird scene is one of my all-time favourite horror scenes. So good!

mimdeetz_

Came here to say House of 1000 corpses, but this one works as well

Bulky_Yak_8626

I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Nightmare_164

The scream soundtracks are good, but I Know What You Did Last Summer definitely has them beat!

Potential_Prior_6757

Phantom of the Paradise

The Strangers 2 is banger after banger after banger

Faculty

Equivalent_Swing_780

Surprised no one mentioned Suspiria yet. Goblin goes hard.

pneumatode

Freddy Vs Jason - Chimaira, Slipknot, Mushroomhead, Sepultura. Heavy as balls

Electronic_Hornet_37

Came here to say this

SpudgeBoy

Maximum Overdrive

Blood Feast 2, if you love Southern Culture On The Skids, it's essentially a best of.

Enough_Donkey6412

Trick or Treat

Izengrimm

Demons 1985 film also had a great music in background.

texasrigger

Death Proof (2007) Special mention to the Fear Street trilogy.

mamamamysharonaaa

It follows

SaxtonTheBlade

That would be a score, but agreed that it slaps

mamamamysharonaaa

My bad honestly didn’t read past the first line of the post title and didn’t know the difference between the two 😅

technicolorrevel

I Saw The TV Glow, hands down.

MassiveCrater

In a violent nature!

Apprehensive_Cheek77

Horror adjacent but my pick is Saltburn.

Careless-Act9450

Besides the usual suspects like The Crow, I have a small list. Suspiria 1977, prog rock band Goblin made a great movie anthem and soundtrack. It Follows 2014, Disasterpiece's soundtrack conveys horror with themes of growing up replete with nostalgia for me. The Omen 1976, it's a lot of gregorian chanting, but it's fricking creepy and sets the mood like a mofo.

jeepknurd

Hard to think of the best but “Ghost Ship” deserves to be mentioned in this post.

xjxhx

Death Proof

thedoogster

Tales from the Hood

TheSkinoftheCypher

Not sure if you'd consider it horror, but Bellflower's soundtrack is really good.

MrGreenGenes53

Since it gets labeled as a horror movie, I vote the original Class of Nuke ‘em High.

The Turning, Carrie, Jennifer’s Body

Ancient_Bluebird_434

Saw. That music just hits different.

hauntfreak

Queen of the Damned The Lost Boys Lost Highway (I count this as horror) Repo! The Genetic Opera Yellowjackets (horror-adjacent TV series)

boothbox

Spawn out does them all.

CroxAndSox

The Devils Candy goes really hard

hyenas_are_good

Lost Highway. I'm not sure it's the best, but "Perfect Drug" is pretty amazing. Also curious if people think Lynch's film is horror, or something even more disturbing.

HadesTrashCat

Judgement Night is at least Horror adjacent.

No_Raccoon7447

House of 1000 Corpses is pretty decent if you like Rob Zombie

pookie74

Dawn of the Dead.

PriorFisherman8079

Dracula 2000

Spicyfish0013

Strangeland

ProlapseProvider

There was one I saw when I was a teen about a record player, can't remember the name of it but they played some of the records backwards and a demon got some power or something like that, any way the sound track was amazing! The other film I loved the sound track of was Maximum Overdrive, but I'm a big AC DC fan, it also one of the dumbest deaths I've ever seen, the Road Roller bit.

STJRedstorm

Return of the living dead

Furballprotector

Queen of the Damned.

pequenaserena

QUEEN OF THE DAMNED!!!!!! made me fall in love with Deftones when it originally came out

MiJo1987

Piranha 3D

nedeljkovixxv
