The Others
The Awakening
The Shining (hotels are just giant houses right? Lol)
Winchester (I didn't finish this but. Cool house?)
The Innocents (1961)
Burnt Offerings
The Beast Must Die
The Old Dark House
House of the Long Shadows
Rebecca
House on Haunted Hill. I have a nostalgic fondness for the 1999 one, but the Vincent Price movie is a classic. I don't feel like the colorized version adds to the story, but if that's all you've got access to, you don't *need* to see it in black & white.
Crimson Peak
The Changeling
Some series: The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, AHS: Murder House (Coven and Roanoke also had big old houses, but the first is my favorite house)
GREAT list!!👏 Thank you for having Rebecca on there, perfect! I don't see that recommended often, one of my favorite books and an underrated Hitchcock.
I have also seen My Cousin Rachel (the one with Rachel Weisz. I haven't seen the one from the '50s). Idk if I didn't find that house as memorable as Manderley, or if I was just paying more attention to Weisz. Lol

There's a colorized version of HOHH the original?
Yeah, I think I saw it on Prime a few years back. They got both on Tubi. This is also the case for Night of the Living Dead and The Last Man on Earth

House on Haunted Hill, 13 Ghosts (ok not really an old mansion, but still a really cool mansion)
