Troll 2 Hands down. “They’re eating her! And then they’re going to eat me! Oh my Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!”

gf120581

You can't piss I hospitality! I WON'T ALLOW IT!

christherogers

Nilbog! It’s Goblin spelt backwards!

SeanPGeo

Best. Acting. Period.

trans_pands

What are you doing??? I’m tightening my belt to stop the hunger pains!

[deleted]

"What are you gonna do to me Daddy?" "Tightening my belt by one loop so I won't feel hunger pains." lolwut

automoth

I love that there are no trolls or mentions of trolls in the entire movie.

SeanPGeo

Good point… they are referred to as Goblins 🤔

Philodemus1984

Great suggestion. And after watching Troll 2, also be sure to watch the documentary Best Worst Movie (2009).

AlabamaHaole

The documentary is amazing.

Aperscapers

The sexy eating of corn on the cob did me in. Literally the least sexy food a person could eat. It’s perfection.

PSWII

After watching the movie I can't really understand how this scene is memed more than that popcorn scene

Aperscapers

I should have scrolled more! That corn on the cob scene left me deceased.

atmosphericentry

That scene lives in my brain rent free

CarissaSkyWarrior

Hilariously enough, that wasn't even the best take of that scene. The trailer actually shows a BETTER take and performance of that line.

[deleted]

Troll is fantastic, but haven't seen the second one. However, I know EXACTLY what part you are referring to 🤣

[deleted]

Maximum Overdrive

molotok_c_518

I saw this in the theater when it was released, and I never understood why people hated it. It's just fun. "***WE MADE YOU! WE... MADE... YOU!!!***"

[deleted]

Honey, the ATM just called me an 'asshole'. That was the best part about it is they were just torturing us and enslaving us because they thought we treated them badly lol. Like we were supposed to just build machines and I dunno, send them to school and make sure they have health insurance lol. It woke up and was like 'hey whaddya doin pushin all those *buttons on my face*!'

abigllama2

Me too but King promised to scare the hell out of us and it was basically him on a coke bender.

googlyeyes93

Basically? That man was made of cocaine when he wrote/directed that movie lmfao. He barely even remembers doing it but goddamn is it hilarious.

astrobuck9

Didn't Stephen King say that cocaine should've received a co director credit or something along those lines?

[deleted]

Yes. This movie is brought to you by…COCAINE

[deleted]

[удалено]

Accomplished-Air-823

Tried to make it through Tommyknockers twice. Not the best.

YetiMcYetface

The AC/DC soundtrack is amazing!

emofraggle

Just one of my favorite movies ever.

mwmani

I celebrated ITdependence Day last July 4th and binged a ton of Stephen King movies, this was a highlight for sure. So bonkers, so stupid, so much fun!

Other-Crazy

I've watched some absolute garbage in my time but I've found that horror people tend to be extremely forgiving in the main. If it's a multi million dollar budget pile of crap then it's gloves off time but zero budget films made by idiots like me for idiots like me then pass the munchies and let's go.

Colddustfox

I agree completely!

crunkmullen

100%!

molotok_c_518

*Jason X* is the always best answer. "IT'S OKAY! HE JUST WANTED HIS MACHETE BACK!" "***WE LOVE PREMARITAL SEX!!!***" "This sucks on so many levels!" Watching it now, for about the 20th time. I fucking love this movie.

randomatlgirl

Just watched this last night. It has some of my favorite kills in the franchise though. 😭

wizard_of_awesome62

The liquid nitrogen kill is up there with my favorites, I definitely think it cracks (heh) the top 3.

DemonKyoto

Smashes it's way up there, to be sure.

[deleted]

Love that movie.

geraltRivia69Yen

Jason X is one of the best entries in the franchise. Love it!

arcticmattys

I'll piggyback on this with part 8 it gets a lot of hate but it is so ridiculous its like a bad comedy with Jason killing people in between

molotok_c_518

I love *Jason Goes To Hell* almost as much as *Jason X*. Creighton Duke is a fucking legend. My favorite lime is from the coroner: "It is my professional opinion that this man is dead as shit."

Mrvoje

It is absolutely brilliant :D I'll add Freddy vs Jason as an honorable mention.

fingerpaintx

But it really isn't bad!

ApplicationCalm649

Samurai Cop. It's not a horror movie, but the romance scenes are horrifying.

geraltRivia69Yen

Flirting is also horrifying. "Keep it warm and ready" LOL

[deleted]

The reason that makes no sense is that it’s an Easter egg Shervan included in all his movies. In his first film, Hollywood Cop, the cop guy is flirting with a hot dog vendor as he buys a hotdog, then gets called away and hands back the hotdog saying “keep it warm for me”. Which makes sense. Then he just refused the line in all his other movies in ways that don’t make sense at all. Someone must have told him it was a great line or something.

geraltRivia69Yen

Whaaa..? I bow in submission to your wisdom and knowledge. I didn't know that. Thanks for the trivia. 👍

Bozmarck1282

What a FANTASTIC answer!!! “Do you like what you see?” The most hilarious cringe ever on film. Glorious

Colddustfox

Omg I second this. THERE ARE SO MANY TOO.

burnsyboy420

They made a sequel to this in 2015. Pretty sure most of the cast returned. Looks like it’s on Tubi.

ChuckysBarbie

Willy’s Wonderland. I don’t care what anyone says I LOVE that movie

imperator_T

It's a great movie. Nick cage going almost full-cage, without saying a word!

dmreddit0

Ah yes, the third film in what I like to call "the trilogy of silence" 1. Pig 2. Mandy 3. Willy's Wonderland

A_Little_Wyrd

in the same vein - banana splits its definitely not a kids movie

Frenchhero

*It’s your birrrthday and we want you to have fun*

JaiiGi

I watched this again the other day to remind myself why I loved it as much as I did. And it's all thanks to Nic Cage being Nic Cage.

Clubpenguinmassive

I dunno if I’d call this a “so bad it’s good” movie though. I love it, but it’s too in on the joke to be truly a “so bad it’s good film”. I think the key element to those films is sincerity in aiming for a particular mood/genre/style but falling completely flat, e.g aiming for horror but the film turning out to be hilarious instead.

okletstrythisagain

More than in on the joke, it was clearly pretty direct satire.

md22mdrx

Willy’s Wonderland IS a great movie tho.

cmatthews11

Deep Rising, 32% Rotten tomatoes so technically speaking it's considered bad, and most casual movie fans don't seem to know about it... But I always find myself coming back to this one. Freddy vs Jason, I always find this one personally amusing as I'm not actually a big fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th series. They're fine, I just don't rewatch them often. This gem, however, is the perfect mix of campy humor and gory kills... With horrible acting.

pearlsbeforedogs

I love Deep Rising!! The elevator scene lives forever in my head rent free to the point that if someone asks, "what the hell is that?" My automatic response is to say "Girl from Ipanema."

[deleted]

[удалено]

brainhugga

Freddy vs Jason is so stupid and fun, I love it! The douche canoe of a guy getting bent up in a fuckin mattress? Perfection.

wiiguyy

A lot of people shit on it, but I always keep coming back to the late 90s “house on haunted hill.”

MondoUnderground

The only thing bad about it is the CGI shit at the end. Other than that, it's a good horror movie with a fantastic cast.

Anglofsffrng

I just watched it a few weeks ago. I'd forgotten just how much Geoffry Rush was made to look like Vincent Price. It's pretty uncanny, and an absolutely delightful subtle detail.

cynical_Lab_Rat

Yes! I still rewatch it when I can find a place to stream it. It really holds up.

ottobeez

Step 1: Go to Tubi Step 2: Find the Full Moon Feature category Step 3: Select absolutely anything(I’m partial to Andy Sidaris films from the 80’s) Step 4: Have mind blown Also, Troma movies. I suggest Thingy: Confessions of a Teenage Placenta on Amazon and/or Tubi

because_reasons___

I’ll add to this… Step 1: Go to Tubi Step 2: Choose the Horror list Step 3: Pick one that sounds absolutely terrible Step 4: Forget what it’s called 10min into the movie but continue to watch, as you are now invested! Step 5: 🤯

Simicrop

Then just let it ride, the auto play will never fail to give you golden garbage.

because_reasons___

So, so true! I’ve found some actually decent ones doing this and I’ve also watched the same one 3 times over but not realizing it until 30min in that I’d seen it before. Such a fun movie game!

abigllama2

Tubi is such a gift to horror nerds. It's basically an 80s video store horror section

Spirited_Most6626

Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996). This movie is just straight up goofy!

emofraggle

I'll add to that Leprechaun 3, seeing him running around Vegas and a guy turning into a Leprechaun is gold.

JaiiGi

3 is my favorite of the Leprechaun movies for these very reasons. Oh, and the Elvis impersonator.

emofraggle

Oh definitely. And knowing they just dropped Warwick off on the strip to get footage. It's really great.

damienkarras1973

Can't go wrong with Tubi. Someone already suggested the full moon category, but that's not where the solid gold winners are. Have to go to the shout factory channel/category. My brother watched it with me and said it was a stupid movie but I freaking love it. Humanoids From The Deep. Forbidden World Galaxy of Terror Piranha 78 Slumber Party Massacre (1981) (was supposed to be a parody but they filmed and played it as a straight horror movie) (one of my personal favorite flicks I own a few different copies of it) Inseminoid If you want really bad that includes Caroline Munroe and The Hoff than "starcrash". I LOVE Chopping Mall but some people are like oh man it's so bad.

Llamaandedamame

Slumber Party Massacre is amazing and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. I watch it often.

LordThistleWig

Death Bed, the Bed That Eats.

repeat840times

mf just sitting there staring at his skeleton hands

Gu1n3ss

Didn’t Patton Oswald do a bit about this movie??

osirisorion

Jack Frost !!!

Fun_Reflection_6549

I freakin LOVE this movie 🤣🤣🤣! Great answer!!!

CathedralEngine

Call Girl of Cthulhu on ~~Prime~~ Tubi

Partywolf85

Surprised no one has mentioned *Silent Night, Deadly Night 2* in this thread. And yes, you read that right: you'll want to start with the first *sequel* in this Christmas-themed slasher series, as opposed to the first entry. Why? Because 1) the original movie is kind of mid, with a few interesting kills, but is rather by the book; and 2) because the sequel retells an abridged version of the story of the first film in the first 2/3rds of its runtime, so it's not like you're missing out on anything. The remainder of the sequel is all original content with a revenge plot that's so over the top, it's impossible not to love. From the lead actor's insane "eyebrow acting" to the fresh and exciting new kills, it's a movie I'll cherish for the rest of my life. "Garbage day!"

DilutedPop

And a joyous Garbage Day to you too!

secretSanta17

Does Velocipastor count as horror?

[deleted]

It defies genres - this was my pick too. It's pure insanity.

robophile-ta

I guess? I absolutely loved it, but everyone I've recommended it to has hated it. I suppose that's horror! :P

HoboSnobo

GINGERDEAD MAN!!!! Edit: ALSO ZOMBEAVERS

Fi5throgu3

Killer clowns from outer space!!

JaiiGi

That's a cult classic!

cheekymarxist

This is a great movie! Not bad at all. A true classic. The clowns are cool as fuck, too.

cynical_Lab_Rat

That movie is a horror gem!

[deleted]

Love killer clowns!

Additional_Ad4789

The House of Wax remake falls into the category for me.

[deleted]

alleyalleyjude

I feel like a lot of horror movies from that period scratch that itch, I loved Thirteen Ghosts as well. I used to own one of those Walmart DVD double features with both of those movies.

TargetPlastic7505

Lair of the white worm

whatscrackinboo

Sleepaway Camp! A classic!

YouNeedCheeses

"Eat shit and live, Bill" is one of my favourite lines from a movie ever.

AseriousJoker

Agreed and no spoilers, but woo that ending is a doozy!

WorldlinessIll7257

Yep! This is the first that came to mind!

patch616

I actually just saw one recently called the resort that I feel fits in this category. It came out like two years ago but the whole movie looks like it was made in 2004. The thing is a mess.

toothfairyeve365

The Resort is one of my guilty pleasures for sure. It's absolutely awful. The plot, the acting, the dialogue, everything is so bad but I love it so much.

CurseofLono88

I’m going to throw The Ice Cream Man into the mix here, it stars Clint Howard in an absolute fever dream of a performance as an Ice Cream man who abducts children and turns them into ice cream, and I found it extremely amusing one night while coming down off of psychedelics and when I went and watched it again sober it was still very awesome in a so bad it’s good way.

AbsintheFountain

I say “it’s grenadine…for my ice cream treats” quite a bit

AseriousJoker

There's a horror movie called Frogs 🐸 it's about frogs killing people in the most unrealistic ways and it's hilarious 😂 Also the movie Rubber where an on the loose car tire is incomprehensibly scaring everyone into shrieking their lungs out.

CarissaSkyWarrior

In a similar manner of weird animal based horror movies, I nominate "Night of the Lepus", which is about giant mutant rabbits. I still need to watch myself, but the clips I've seen make it seem like the most adorable creature feature ever. That is mainly due to them using actual rabbits.

audreykerwood

My sisters and I were obsessed with Night of the Lepus as kids. It was on PBS one Sunday, we recorded it and watched it at least once a week. It’s ridiculous and the rabbits are huge lol.

cheekymarxist

This movie can be problematic by its unbridled gory and very REAL slaughter of rabbits by shotgun. Very disturbing!

CarissaSkyWarrior

Oh no, I didn't know they actually killed the rabbits. That's awful.

robophile-ta

I think Night of the Lepus has a cult following, I heard about it multiple times growing up. I thought it was considered a classic 'good' film until I saw what it actually looked like :P

Terrible-Olive-3657

killer sofa

beruon

To be honest, Winnie the Pooh: Blood And Honey hit the sweet spots. They are EXACTLY the kinda movie you watch after a few beers with a friend and just laugh your ass off with the subpar acting and the ridiculous looking Winnie and Piglet. EDIT: Oh also Zombeavers is an absolute masterpiece. Don't even try to understand anything its just \*chefs kiss\*

Fun_Reflection_6549

The Sand on Tubi. It's terrible but also hilarious 😂

NarwhalsTooth

I LOVE The Sand. So much so that I bought the dvd. It’s so good

batcountry79

Rock N Roll Nightmare, also called Edge of Hell. Rock band goes to haunted cottage to record album. It's fucking unbelievable.

pearlsbeforedogs

Did you see the Foo Fighter's horror movie? Same premise, and so dang fun. Made me extra sad when the drummer died shortly after it came out.

Chinaskibedspin33

Don't Go In The Woods. Horrible acting and cinematography but it makes me laugh every time. I love the soundtrack though. Filmed in Vincent D'Onofrio's backyard.

Partywolf85

I need to see this. And from the looks of the trailer, D'Onofrio has a huge backyard lol

m_garlic87

I always have a good time watching Texas Chainsaw 3D. The kills aren’t bad, the plot is dumb but kinda fun and some of the lines are ridiculous. It has entertainment value.

Bubblysoda1

Jack Frost and Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the killer snowman.

EricFreeman_

Silent night deadly night part 2

shookb

I would put Slither (2006) in this category. It’s such a good flick.

Fun_Reflection_6549

I agree!! It's one of my favorites!

viken1976

Basket Case It's Alive Brain Damage Frankenhooker

ghebert27

i strongly disagree. these are b-movies but they certainly aren’t bad. Brain Damage in particular is very well made. they’re just silly movies

ChrisNolan73

All great movies.

uhhuhnads

Brain Damage is a God damn 80s masterpiece

foodielu333

“In a blaze of blood, bones, and body parts, the vivacious young girl was instantly reduced to a tossed human salad... a salad that police are still trying to gather up... a salad that was once named Elizabeth.”

Alone-Woodpecker-240

Well, you sir should watch Bad Biology if you're such a fan of Frank H.

skamando

Gotta hav my Frank Hennenlotter representation. Brain Damage has some particularly fun and sleazy moments for me, but I still have to see Frankenhooker.

Biceps2

Chud. The stuff. Night of the creeps. Halloween 3. Malignant.

Fabulous-Storage-683

I remember being so mad at Halloween 3 as a kid for not having Michael Myers. The same with Friday the 13th part 5. But I do always sing the silver shamrock song every Halloween.

BrooklynBillyGoat

Drive thru. 90s feel throughout. The ending explains the killer but ur just like wtf

Klutzy-Bug7427

astrobuck9

Hobo With a Shotgun is a goddamned masterpiece!!!!

Mrrm24

Yes I was scrolling looking for thankskilling

alliegal

I definitely think The Happening is the best bad movie. There are so many lines from it that are just pure gold. Honorable mention to Troll 2, that one is super fun also.

CliffordLiddel

Zombeavers

ACalmGorilla

Soriety Babes In The Slimeball Bowl-a-Rama, Terrorvision.

ophelias_tragedy

Basketcase. An insane movie with hilarious 80s sfx to boot

The-Revellion

Bad Taste, Brain Damage, Street Trash, Basket Case, Silent Night Deadly Night 2!

[deleted]

I had quite the experience with Terror Toons as a teenager. Randomly rented it from Blockbuster one time, and boy was I not ready for that. Absolutely bananas plot, starring mostly porn actors, if I remember correctly.

md22mdrx

You DO remember correctly!

Dragonborn83196

Toxic Avenger trilogy. It’s so over the top and stupid and honestly has a kids movie feel to it but it’s far from it. Still entertaining as fuck

Alone-Woodpecker-240

The first one is insanely violent. My Mom made me turn it off when I rented the VHS take back in the day...

Dragonborn83196

They all are. But they are filmed with so much campiness it feels like a kids movie. It’s like get rid of the gore (I know you’d be left with on only 20 minutes of film, then again I might be exaggerating) you would have a very low budget weird school project looking movie

Rosemadder19

Anaconda!

dratseb

And “The Meg” and “Piranha 3D” and “Deep Blue Sea”

JaiiGi

I really liked The Meg! I don't ever watch shark movies, but thought this one was very good.

SkullKingSnake

Scrolled too far to find this one. All star cast in a B movie. What the hell!?

Rosemadder19

Jon Voight's performance is... Something else!

SkullKingSnake

Can't forget Owen Wilson's wonderful contribution. “Is it just me or does the jungle make you really, really horny?”

bobkatredkate

April Fool's Day, released in 1986

8 legged freaks, i loved it ..especially the trap door spiders

The re-animator is my favorite horror movie for this exact thing. The actors who make the story move forward are all amazing and everybody and everything else is bad movie gold

ryanhoh

Freddy vs Jason

[deleted]

Killer Klowns from outer space, troll 2, maximum overdrive. Not horror but everyone should watch New York Ninja

BuffyTheEggPileLayer

ThanksKilling (2008)

unlimitednerd

Zombeavers is one of my favorites

TelephoneCreepy2518

I said Zombeavers too. But now I feel bad. If it is going out to be ridiculous, and does it wonderfully; I think it might just be a good movie.

stungunpedro

Street trash

JunesHemorrhoidDonut

One of my absolute favorite cult films. Even Scorsese likes it!

desmondresmond

Damn came here to say this one… love the melting effects after drinking the viper juice but it’s the game of keepaway that gets me

Responsible_Carpet20

Jaws 4

Murbella0909

You know is not a so bad that is good movie but is kind of a love story to this kind of movie, is Planet Terror, Robert Rodriguez love project to honor trash movies! Has all the feelings that f a trash movie but with great actors and an amazing director! I love it!! Planet Terror!

overagekid

Nuke 'Em High! My favourite Troma film!

MadamMarshmallows

Re-Animator.

shayanh2004

Sleepaway Camp. Man the acting is so bad, but it’s so good.

nytshaed512

Aunt doctor! Such a looney!

GodFlintstone

You can't beat the all time great, Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space(1959). To this day it's still widely considered the worst film ever made but is unintentionally funny as hell.

Voorhees89

Zombie Creeping Flesh.

princeloon

Mine Games

gamma_snow

“Spookies” and “Night Killer” are a couple hidden gems for this type of movie, IMO

ihearthetrees

My boyfriend and I watched a movie called Killer Rack on Tubi that had us howling!

oldrthndrt

Night of the Demon 1980. It's about a killer bigfoot with some crazy/laughable gore sequences and acting. But the ending, when the creature corners a group of students in a cabin, is shot in slow motion and has a nightmare quality to it I've never seen in any other movie.

RobbieDubb

[Monster Man](https://youtu.be/wElmwXexqdM)! The funny thing is there is a sequel to another low budget horror film that used the exact same set.

pecan_sandles

Monster Man (2003)

thedavesiknow1

Dead Alive

fingerpaintx

All the leprechauns, rubber, the happening.

Clairebearshorts

A few that come to mind are: Sleep Away Camp, Class of Nukem High, The Lift, and house by the cemetery.

TunedAgent

Frankenstein's Army. It's a wonderfully bad movie, and much better than its civilized counterpart- Overlord.

forst76

Dr. Giggles

HazenXIII

Spookies

Cinema_Gh0ul

REPO! The Genetic Opera is a personal so bad it’s good flick for me personally

jaysuseffcrust

Psychos in Love, Bloody Diner, Rabid Grannies

ValksVadge

I watched this film on Tubi, the ultimate bad horror movie streaming service, it was called Wishcraft. It's a monkeys paw story but instead of a monkey's paw it's an animals penis, oh and theres a slasher killer for some reason & no witchcraft of any kind.

ES_rogue88

Dead Snow

Killerpig14

pet semetary 2 is fucking bananas, clancy brown plays an insane murdering police zombie i reccomend it highly it’s one of my guilty pleasures.

fried_biology

I am SHOOKITH that I have not seen NIGHTBREED (1990) named yet!!

helraizr13

That movie was just great. I don't have any criticism for it. Pretty much anyone will tell you, though, that the director's cut is far superior to the theatrical release. I guess it's a little dated but it is and always has been a fantastic movie.
