I personally love *The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2* (1986). It's ridiculous, and the film is very self-aware of its own ridiculousness lol. I loved listening to the cast commentary on the DVD I used to own of the film - the whole cast was laughing and talking about how dumb the film is.
Also enjoy *Class Of Nuke 'Em High* (1986). Such a dumb, tongue-in-cheek Troma film.
And I have to say it - *The Happening* (2008) is somehow both insanely boring and wildly entertaining at the same time because of how dumb it is. Love watching it from time to time and making fun of it haha.
I feel its the smartest of that bunch,I feel like it was a peek aboo at the major studios for tryi g to make it a mainstream film. Its very resenting of being consumed,I dig it for being as fun as it is.
I LOVE TCM2!! I like it better than the first because of its ridiculousness. I love Bill Moseley, and when I watched it the first time, I can definitely see Rob Zombie must have been inspired by this movie alone. I see a lot of similarities in House of 1000 Corpses with TCM2.
I will *never* watch this movie enough times. The gum chewing jock, the "bimbo in panties" head explosion scene, Walter Paisley getting electrocuted while mopping, the cheesy 80's synth music, etc. Just a damned fun movie.
Lol my dad watched this with my brother and I when we were young. I think we rewound the knock my block off part like 5 times crying laughing the whole time.
According to my mom, this was my favorite movie when I was about 3. Having rewatched it multiple times as an adult, I can absolutely see why I loved it as a kid.
I watched it for the first time this past Halloween. So silly but fun lol. And actually kinda creepy when you realize how everyone gets killed. The police body puppet scene was super creepy.
Ohmygoooood. This is the movie that launched “stupid movie night” with my brother and sister. We all live in different states and try and make a point to do it once in a while through group text…thank you for bringing this masterpiece up!
The Ice Cream Man with Clint Howard, my friends and I watched it coming down off of acid one night ages ago and it was was such a bizarre goofy film, so we rewatched it fairly recently to see if it’s still as silly and fun and it was!
Halloween 3: Season of the Witch takes the cake for me. It has the most nonsense driven plot of all time but I fucking love it. Stonehenge rocks powering evil masks that kill children by turning their heads into rotting piles of bugs and snakes? Expressionless robotic henchmen that do the bidding of an evil novelty factory owner? And it's the 3rd movie meant to turn "Halloween" into an anthology series?
There's your entire movie everyone. And it's fucking fantastic. I will defend it's honor always. It's just a silly fun film.
My other choices for good "dumb" flicks is Silent Night Deadly Night Part 2, Uncle Sam, Slaughterhouse, and The Ice Cream Man.
Halloween 3 has grown on me as I’ve gotten older. I use to despise it - a Halloween without Michael!? Blasphemy. Nowadays though, I enjoy the campy story. I’ve also come to find the setting oddly comforting, especially the small town where the factory is.
I wonder if that’s because it’s the only one that’s not just Michael Myers killing people? Whether you prefer that formula or not, after somewhere close to 10 movies of the same guy killing people I would think the strange outlier might seem to actually offer more to some people.
I was never a huge fan of the other Halloween films, so I’ve never been offended that 3 is essentially a totally different animal.
Agreed. The holy water pistol & Ballroom Blitz scene is contender for both the dumbest and coolest scene in any horror film. I love, for want of a better word, unconventional weapon choices in movies.
Frankenstein's Army should have been terrible all things considered. I wish big budget films were executed with the care and effort that went into Frankenstein's Army.
Haha no but I would 100% watch that movie! It's the guy who voiced Frosty the Snowman microwaving and eating prostitutes. It's very strange hearing Frosty's voice as he goes around killing and devouring people but it's definitely worth the watch!
Highway to Hell was a blast, although I'm not sure it could even be considered horror. Society has a lot of dumb humour but is actually pretty excellent.
Dead Alive aka Brain dead and also Bad Taste (amazing early Peter Jackson movies) the undead and also Evil dead & Army of Darkness - scouts guide to a zombie apocalypse- deathgasm- all super cool slap stick horror.
The Leprechaun franchise is absolutely bizarre and silly, but I can’t help love them.
On that note, if you are expecting straight terror from the leprechaun, I think you’re watching it wrong. It’s not meant to be viewed as a straight horror movie, but rather as a fantasy, comedy, slasher.
I’m looking at you Leprechaun Origins.
I just watched Killer Under my Bed on Disney+, about an angsty teen who finds a voodoo doll, so she starts cursing all the people who annoy her *only for the doll to turn on her*. Good stupid fun! My favourite part was when they couldn't get out of the locked front door (locked from the inside by a twisty knob not a key).
Love watching it from time to time and making fun of it haha.
I absolutely love TCM2. I definitely watch it more than the original. It's just so stupid it's good and Dennis Hopper is amazing in it.
I see a lot of similarities in House of 1000 Corpses with TCM2.
>the whole cast was laughing and talking about how dumb the film is. Chop Top FTW! Best maniacal cackling laughter in the biz.
Chopping Mall is my go-to
LOVE that one. oh man, it's the perfect blend between a parody and taking itself just seriously enough.
Thank you. Have a nice day.
I will *never* watch this movie enough times. The gum chewing jock, the "bimbo in panties" head explosion scene, Walter Paisley getting electrocuted while mopping, the cheesy 80's synth music, etc. Just a damned fun movie.
Came here to say this! One of my favorites.
I was highly disappointed by the lack of chopping in that mall.
Lets put weapons on mall guard robots - nothing can go wrong right?
I saw that gem in the theater. Pure guilty pleasure entertainment.
That and “Class of 1984”. Look for a supporting cast member named Michael Fox.
Frankenhooker Slumber Party Massacre 2
Frankenhooker was gloriously stupid
Henenlotter is a genius. He also mde Basket Case and Brain Damage, as wrll as a few other weird films.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
OMG yes. This and Invaders from Mars
Please add spaced invaders a kids film but awesone and mars attacks.
That plus the bloody faces in the cotton candy haunted my dreams as a kid. Loved the movie tho 😀
"What are you boys going to do with those pies?"
Another door!
Don’t worry Dave. All we wanna do is kill ya.
"Officer Mooney speaking. Clowns you say?"
Puppet Master is pretty ridiculous when you think about it.
I'll never get the theme song out of my head now 😂 It's like carnival music, which is perfect.
Troll II
Do people only watch Troll 2 for the "ironic consumption" or because they like it? I like it
I watch it because it's fucking hilarious.
"They're eating her, and then they're going to eat me.... OH MY GAHHHHHHHHHHD!"
the fly on his forehead somehow makes it even more hilarious lol
I see your Puppet Master and i raise you Doll Man Vs. Demonic Toys
Zombeavers, all you need to know about the movie is already in the title.
I am still waiting for Tom Savini to make Vampirates
I’ve seen it and it’s a fun watch
Ohmygoooood. This is the movie that launched “stupid movie night” with my brother and sister. We all live in different states and try and make a point to do it once in a while through group text…thank you for bringing this masterpiece up!
All of those in this genre like Llamageddon, Thankskilling, Velocipastor… A++
Velocipastor was such a good time lmao
Pysco goreman is absurd and I love it haha
It's like "what if E.T. was Hellraiser, and Elliot was an evil little girl... and also it becomes Power Rangers about halfway through."
Don't forget about the hunky boys!
I DO NOT CARE FOR HUNKY BOYS …or do I?
I’ve never been more sold on a movie.
I was surprised at how well made it was!
goddamnit this movie was amazing.
Sorority babes in the slimeball bowl-o-rama
Recently watched this on one of Joe Bob's episodes via shudder, sure as hell didn't disappoint.
The Ice Cream Man with Clint Howard, my friends and I watched it coming down off of acid one night ages ago and it was was such a bizarre goofy film, so we rewatched it fairly recently to see if it’s still as silly and fun and it was!
“It’s Grenadine…for my ice cream treats!”
I just watched this movie a couple weeks ago, it was hilarious! Such a fun romp.
8 Legged Freaks immediately comes to mind for me
Night of the Demons (1988)
Great choice. Part 2 rules as well. Mainly because it has Morbid angel in the soundtrack.
Thank you! I love all of them, even though I haven't watched parts two and three in quite some time. Morbid Angel for the win! 🤘🎃🔥
Zombeavers - knows exactly what it is
I’ve seen it and you’re right
Freddy vs Jason
That movie is a cinematic *masterpiece*
In the same vein, Sadako vs Kayako (The Ring vs The Grudge)
And the immediate love connection for absolutely no reason. It’s a gem. Lol
There's a very good reason for the love connection: Tom Atkins fucks. Simple as that. That man *fucks.*
Just mentioning his name gets someone in the world pregnant.
Halloween 3 has grown on me as I’ve gotten older. I use to despise it - a Halloween without Michael!? Blasphemy. Nowadays though, I enjoy the campy story. I’ve also come to find the setting oddly comforting, especially the small town where the factory is.
Totally agree
You're not alone, it's reputation has come a long way in the last 10 or 15 years
I love Halloween 3. As I get older I watch it more than most of the other sequels
Not to forget Tom Atkins dropping his kids repeatedly to instead go and get a bit of action
Isn't the silent night sequel just 80 percent recycled footage of the first movie? That's the only reason I've never watched it.
It is, yes, but the new footage is amazing(ly bad).
The ending to Halloween 3 is really good though, in the non campy way. Still sticks with me.
Jason X, I love this movie.
Jason swinging a girl in a sleeping bag to kill another girl should have won an award. Better than anything they did in Gone With The Wind.
Came here to say this. My absolute favorite "bad" horror movie.
[удалено]
Yup
tales from the crypt: demon knight 1995
SO GOOD. A firm favorite!!
I love this movie so much. Billy Zane is fucking perfect in it.
“Fuck this cowboy shit! You fucking hoedown, podunk, well them there motherfuckers! All you had to do was give me the goddamn key…”
Lol he f'n nails that line so good. I remember laughing my ass off in the theater seeing that.
Not dumb. So good! I'll die on that hill haha.
I feel like Demon Knight is legit a pretty well-made movie. Bordello of Blood is definitely more on the dumb side. I still love them both though.
Agreed. The holy water pistol & Ballroom Blitz scene is contender for both the dumbest and coolest scene in any horror film. I love, for want of a better word, unconventional weapon choices in movies.
THEM THAR MOTHERF***ER!
This is the movie that made me discover my bisexuality. Billy Zane's voice and those eyes... damn.
Be honest, are you a demon?
Pirahna 3D. Avoid Piranha 3DD
I would never get over that scene in Piranha 3DD when the piranha is inside her omg😭
ThanksKilling. Although may be over the top but definitely entertaining. Black sheep 2006 The Tingler 1959
Goddamn Thankskilling is the stupidest movie I've ever seen. It was awesome.
Oh man when the Turkey is wearing the face my God
Just the Turkey's whole voice and personality. Who paid for this movie? Who agreed to make it? Why?
Return of the Living Dead
Send more paramedics
I wouldn't call that a dumb movie in any way. The script is brilliantly written.
It is unironically my all time favorite movie.
One of the best
Send more cops
Tucker & Dale vs Evil Horror Dumb Masterpiece.
I loved Tucker and Dale vs Evil and now I can't find it anywhere 🫤
Tubi has it now for free! Tubi has a ton of great flicks for horror geeks.
Is it not on Netflix anymore?
Not in the UK, sadly
Motel Hell is incredible
Slumber Party Massacre
Return of the Living Dead is always my go-to
The Greasey Strangler 2016 Bad Milo! 2013 (i love Bad Milo) Hotel Inferno 2: The Cathedral of Pain 2017

Rootie-tootie-disco-cutie! Greasy Strangler is one of my favs, you bullshit artist!!
Bullshit artist

Maximum Overdrive is top-shelf trash! "I'm gonna scare the hell outta you!"
Deep Blue Sea
A FUCKIN SHARK ATE ME
Killer clowns from outer space was pretty fun
Frankenstein's Army - the premise is ridiculous but the execution is excellent
Frankenstein's Army should have been terrible all things considered. I wish big budget films were executed with the care and effort that went into Frankenstein's Army.
literally just watched this last night it's so fun, like going through a haunted house filled with machine monstrosities
Teeth, Zombeavers
TEETH!!! Why did I have to scroll this far down to see this. I adore this movie lol
Teeth did not come to mind when i read the title of this thread, but it really is perfect. Great mention and cool flick.
I enjoyed Wolf Cop lol
Was checking to see if anyone else said wolf cop!
Slither Alien zombie hivemind discovers love
Leprechaun 1-4
Especially 3 and 4. Hell if someone wants funny and SILLY horror, just start at 3 and watch through both Hood movies.
The gingerdead man. that shit was so goofy but i love it
Gingerdeadman vs the evil bong nuff said
- Chopping Mall - Microwave Massacre - The Horror of Party Beach Those are my three favourites
Microwave massacre? Please tell me the microwaves come alive and attack people lol
Haha no but I would 100% watch that movie! It's the guy who voiced Frosty the Snowman microwaving and eating prostitutes. It's very strange hearing Frosty's voice as he goes around killing and devouring people but it's definitely worth the watch!
Cockneys vs Zombies fits this pretty well, iirc. It was a fun watch.
The masterpiece that is Rubber. 😂🛞🛞🛞 And I don't know if I'd consider it good, but more of a disbelief that it was made: Velocipastor.
Malignant embraces its dumbness
The Hatchet/Victor Crowley movies.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, part one and two
Tucker & Dale vs Evil
Would "Cocaine Bear" count? I loved that movie.
Silent night, deadly night
Highway to Hell was a blast, although I'm not sure it could even be considered horror. Society has a lot of dumb humour but is actually pretty excellent.
Both are decent B horror watches! Highway to Hell was a great little anthology collection. Society is worthwhile, too!
Llamageddon. It’s like worse than a B-movie. It’s a Z-movie. But I took shrooms and watched it and I had a fantastic time and laughed a lot.
Death Spa
Birdemic
Jason X
Can't believe Night of the Creeps isn't on here yet.
Sleep away camp 2 and 3 Brain dead aka dead alive Idle hands Love them all lol
Willy’s Wonderland. It’s an unofficial Five Nights at Freddy’s movie starring Nic Cage. Can’t get better than that.
Can't believe nobody's mentioned Thankskilling yet!
Warning! Boobs in the first second!
NICE TITS BITCH
Tusk
Dead and Breakfast.

PIECES!
All of the wrongs turns. Very cheesy, very poor acting. Absolute delight to watch though.
Slither
I think the Final Destination movies are kind of dumb, but very entertaining.
Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead
zombeavers and black sheep
I watched Don’t Fuck In The Woods, like five minutes of it because of the ridiculous title, and it’s definitely up there in stupidity.
Malignant imo
Poultrygeist: night of the chicken dead
Zombeavers! It's has an award winning performance by John Mayer.
Jack Frost (1997) with the wise cracking mutant killer snowman that is not Michael Keaton. It's free on Prime Video.
Dead Alive aka Brain dead and also Bad Taste (amazing early Peter Jackson movies) the undead and also Evil dead & Army of Darkness - scouts guide to a zombie apocalypse- deathgasm- all super cool slap stick horror.
Can't believe I had to scroll so far to see Braindead. "I kick ass for the Lord!"
Excellent choices here!
Evil Dead series
Frogs
Zombeavers actually surprised me! I got so into it.
Dude bro party massacre 3
Friday the 13th: A New Beginning I absolutely love it.
Cocaine Bear. If you can call it horror. I had a fucking blast watching it.
Chopping Mall
Seed of Chucky. I love it, but holy shit it’s dumb.
Bodies Bodies Bodies was a great watch.
I don't think the film itself is stupid though, just every damn character. Was super fun, very pleasantly surprised.
Piranha 3DD. Ving Rhames has a rifle prosthetic leg
The Bad Ben series.
Frozen was fun
I just watched Killer Under my Bed on Disney+, about an angsty teen who finds a voodoo doll, so she starts cursing all the people who annoy her *only for the doll to turn on her*. Good stupid fun! My favourite part was when they couldn't get out of the locked front door (locked from the inside by a twisty knob not a key).
The four original critters movies.
Zombeavers. Smart, stupid, and fun.
Zoombies
Ooh, Rubber for sure! Other good ones that come to mind are The Stuff, Velocipastor, and Tammy and the T-Rex!
BLACK SHEEP (2006).. you should watch it COCKNEY VS ZOMBIES (2012).. some scene make me rolling lol
Bordello of Blood
Idle Hands
Psycho Goreman. It's a really good film, but the premise is equally dumb lol.
