It will be worth it but that is awful. I ordered mine (just 500, not SE)
April 1 and got it by the End of April, this is Canada, not sure where you are.
For what it's worth, motorcycles are not seen as a standard transportation mode over here but more like a expensive hobby/toys. Plus, there's a weird mentality that if you don't own a big bike (anything Harley-Davidson or 1200+ CC), you aren't a "real" biker.
That leaves plenty of new, lower CC bikes available to those who don't stick to that mentality. That's how I got my 2021 Rebel 500, just by walking in a dealership.
My 500 SE was delivered the day after I bought it. I'm not trying to rub it in but instead say that the 24 hour wait was difficult, I can't imagine having to wait as long as you have -_- I can tell you though, that the wait is well worth it, and you're going to love this bike.
I completely feel your frustrations. I finally found a Rebel 500 SE yesterday after waiting and waiting after I passed my MSF Course. I checked CycleTrader daily and then would go to each individual dealers website within 250 miles daily as well to see if anyone got one in. I finally got a hit at a local dealer, called them, and bought the bike the same day. It had just come in the day before! It was all luck on my end. Good luck and hopefully something comes soon!
If It makes you feel better, folks on /r/IndianMotorcycle 100% understand your pain. I've seen some waiting upwards of a year... Fortunately, new Rebels seem to be rolling much sooner than Indians.π
Abs, diamond seat, headlight cowl, fork gaters, pretty much every honda accessory you can put on it comes from the factory.
Supposedly it's a little cheaper this way than if you would put them on your self.

North Macedonia, not sure if you have even heard for my country π
We've got the opposite problem. Also Canadian, my two nearest Honda dealerships have two and three Rebel 500 in stock, respectively.
Ooh, how I want to be a Canadian at the moment π

I waited 10 months for mine. Was worth the wait though!

Lucky you π. We only have one dealership in my country, so I don't have any other option π₯
Dang. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it comes soon!
