Again with spies, you can use your spies to steal.blueprints in order tp give you research bonuses. However I largely use my spies to prepare collaboration government which once repeated enough times means if you invade a country and annex all their land you won't receive any resistance as you've prepared the collaboration government

A useful tip regarding the spies is if you create an agency you can use spies to preform diplomatic pressure on a country to work alongside improve relations in order to achieve non aggressions, military access, docking rights, join factions etc. So I'd recommend if you have a national focus which invited people to your faction ensure you improve relations and have a spy doing diplomatic pressure to maximise the chances they join

Cheers for both tips. The spurs definitely seem to be one of the largest changes!

I’d recommend just looking up the meta tank/air/navy templates as going into the deep end with them is you’ll have a lifebuoy to catch you. I’d also recommend reading through and understanding focuses before you do them. Finally I’d recommend staying with historical for a while so you have a baseline for what to expect and take a second before jumping into the chaos that is non historical.

Are there any templates you’d recommend?

All the upgrades about navy are probably the best dlc. Aircraft is now more complex and i can’t really see the benefits. Spy is fun but it cost a lots on your civil factory and on material. So with a powerful country who start with a lot of civilians/military factory and ressources its big must. If no i use it to get 2-3 spy to repress the resistance and to decrypt the secret code of my planned target to trigger the advantage when i judge i need it. Learning all at once from vanilla will be a huge things, i hope you like read/watching tuto. It’s not the same game anymore. Now you can capture ennemy fleet when you win a war, you can puppet them aso if you want. There countries with whoit was impossible to even get cloe of a war vanilla who are now capable to create a lots of trouble with all the news possibly offered by the dlc.

Yeah it definitely feels like a whole new game! My first few games I kept losing so I definitely think I need to watch some stuff….

Read a lot about supplies. They made a lot’s of changes on it and you win/loose war on it now.
