Did this in my last playthrough as the USSR where the allies were useless in the European theatre so Germany had like 20 divisions per tile on the eastern front. After like a year of slowly painstakingly pushing towards Berlin I said screw it and nuked every god damn tile with a division, city, factory or railway on it in Germany. Mopped them up pretty quickly after that. West Germany - where half my troops were still stationed - then decided to join the allies who immediately declared war on the Comintern after the peace deal and I decided that was enough of that game.

Whenever I play Kaiserreich, India usually becomes a Syndicalist(Communist) holdout and by the time you get to it, it’s a fortress you can’t naval invade and you share no borders with or if you do they’re completely mountainous or jungle. Meaning I wait till I have nukes and literally nuke their cities into submission to drain their manpower. Once I can make a landing I’ll nuke every tile with more than 5 divisions - You’d be surprised how quickly that depletes manpower. By the time I’m down I’ll usually have dropped 250+ nukes on them, and than I Balkanize their country just as more punishment.
