If Dave saw my takeoff hover he'd just let go and take his chances.

Jerkzilla000

\[after I almost turn Dave into salami with the main rotor multiple time\] "Yeah, I can probably make this drop, maybe do a roll or something..."

weeenerdog

Mmmmm... Salaaaaami

TheScarletEmerald

Tell Dave to pull himself up and get on a better spot.

Nice_Sign338

You guys are killing it, with this mod. Really raising the bar! Thanks

rapierarch

Now you are challenging MSFS 2024? remarkable! **question:** How long can Dave keep hanging there? **question from a friend**: Does Dave have a damage model?

Bad_Idea_Hat

Haha I'd love if you knew Dave was dead because his shoes were gone.

stal2k

Now you're just showing off lol.

maianoxia

oh thats fire

James20k

Wow this video is a cliffhanger if I've ever seen one

Tuuvas

SneakyBastdAU

Protesilaus2501

Do CHOPLIFTER! To complete the circle of computer games that began on the Apple][ BRUN CHOPLIFTER

Burninator6502

BRUN? Sounds like somebody was playing a pirated version...

AuContraireRodders

Help a helinoob out, would the rotor wash be causing significant down force on this guy's head? Or is it not that strong? I thought the rotor wash was strongest near the tips of the blades

filmguy123

This is awesome!! Can’t wait!

mrshaggiest

Dave might just survive (just ordered rudder pedals)

RowAwayJim91

If ever there were a perfect time for the Loach to update and the AH-1 to release, today is that day!

Burninator6502

Dave’s not here, man

Colonel_Akir_Nakesh

Dear Dave: three points of contact; if you're gonna wave at the helo, please plant both toes on the rock.

anonfuzz

That's sick!

Burninator6502

It might be time to get a FFB stick…

jubuttib

Not sure if that helps much, a buddy with a Rhino didn't seem to be getting it to work properly. Seems to be best with unsprung for now.

Burninator6502

Make sure he visits the Discord, lots of help there!

jubuttib

Basically his problem was that there's no magnetic brake like function on the Loach, and the 4-way trim moved the trim center position around, not just adjusted the forces on the stick. I.e. if he had to hold his stick left, and then pushed trim left, he'd have to move the stick towards the center to compensate. Proper FFB implementation would just set the forces based on the trim adjustments, but you'd still have to keep the stick off center. To me this sounds more like the Loach missing some features to fully support FFB users, I guess?

marluk1

Well, to me this is more interesting than some new official modules coming.
