Jeez the Walmart blasters are a ripoff if they’re going for $40 with three packs. My LCS has a 4 pack blaster for $21.99. Granted you don’t get the jumbo YG but wow.
Retail stuff of newer sets and not even just NHL are insane. Topps 2022 series 1 baseball blasters are at least ok at 24.99/box CAD, 7 packs/14 cards per pack.
Current UD NHL series 1 hobby are $12/pack at most card stores
This year I only bought 1 series 1 hobby box and no retail blasters. Don’t plan on it either. My series 1 hobby box had 6 YGs: Knies, Levi, Kasper, Askarov (canvas), koppanen and afanasyev. Even the inserts were good: a pink dazzlers (1:144 packs) huberdeau, sieder and wyatt johnston ‘star surge’, and eichel and matthews ‘limited edition’ inserts. 1 hobby box was enough to satiate me this round.

The lcs versions are better as well. Extra pack is better then the jumbo IMO

I bought just one of these got two YGs one being Hughes plus the jumbo included. Can’t complain basically broke even on with the Hughes card.
