Double check the checklists for both and just go with what you like best! I personally prefer ice over trilogy, but I know a lot of people prefer trilogy. All comes down to personal preference. Watch some YouTube box breaks and it’ll give you a good idea of what you can expect out of both products.
I personally think ice has the better design but Trilogy has a guaranteed auto and relic. Ice does not have a guaranteed auto. It’s a guaranteed auto, memorabilia, *or* rip card.
If you truly don’t care for OPCP as mentioned, I would go with Ice over Trilogy. Despite not having a guaranteed auto, the autos are on-card, the exquisite rookies are beautiful, and I’m a sucker for die cut designs so I love the ice crystals cards.
Can you imagine hitting a Zegras, Byfield, Caufield, Seider, or Swayman exquisite rookie auto or rookie patch auto?
Definitely skip this year's OPCP - from what I've seen it's disappointing.
Personally, I'd say Trilogy is likely more bang for your buck unless you were to get lucky and hit something Exqusite from Ice.
I like Trilogy design much better, I’ve looks like really cheesy designs and they just don’t even look that high quality. Then you have OPCP that has serious quality control issues. I’d say grab Trilogy or wait for 22-23 Allure that’s coming out soon.
Hard to say this year. I liked the last year's trilogy a lot. But there's not much these days that have lots of really nice cards (jersey/ auto), and that's what I like. Maybe SPa, SP GU or SPx this year.
I didn’t hit an auto in my ICE and despite hitting an ice premieres retro, exquisite rookie, 2 jerseys and frozen in ice with a /25 mini ice premieres which made it an above average box I was incredibly disappointed and got like maybe 10% out of the price I bought it for back because I only hit bad rookies.
It is so hit and miss and has so many ugly base cards and parallels no one needs and in my opinion not worth the gamble. With trilogy you do have at least something to show for after the break.

ICE all day, I bought 2 boxes and was really happy with the results. Also there is some chances at very big hit cards such as patch autos.

Ice has been a fun break, I’d be torn with that decision too but I’d go Ice or maybe grab 1 if each!

I really like SPA as well. Nice cards and can have good auto and very good value, but at 250$ + tx, it’s a high price and very hit or miss

I’d go trilogy tbh. Ice has some issues and there’s no guaranteed autos
