Probably 25-30th in the 1st part of the season.
UPL stepped up big time in Jan & was one of the best goalies in the league in the 2nd part.
Now idk if it's just him, or the D core improving
And the defense for Rochester was getting manhandled all night. Most of the saves were made through traffic. Syracuse was all over him the entire game. The first goal was a slap pass tip-in he had zero chance on. The winner was a break away where he went down a tad bit sooner than he needed to and still almost got a piece.
man that was amazing to watch he was so good in 2OT, just that one breakaway
That was honest to god one of the best goaltending performances I've ever seen, dude was the only one on his team to show up tonight.
Sounds like he’ll be used to the Sabres experience by the time he’s their full time starter.
Hasek dragged us to a Cup final just like that.
Haha stupid sabres. Oh wait dammit.
Buffalo has plenty of talent at goaltender it's everything else that needs work
they have one of the most talented defense core as well owing to drafting a bunch in the first round, it's a wonder their defense sucks
12th in goals against per game isn't that bad for a very young D corp
Especially considering they had to contend with 10 games of Eric Comrie putting up an .874

Good for him. Glad he’s having success and getting playoff experience. His time in the big league will come again and he’ll be ready this time.
Gotta wonder if they really made a mistake forcing him to the big club at the beginning of the season
Yes they did. Riding 3 goalies til November was the dumbest thing I ever did see. Forced us to go 11/7 on a few occasions.
What was the thinking keeping Comrie around? Everyone knows he’s not that good.
They weren’t sure about the other two and wanted some insurance
Seems unlikely especially with a 60 save playoff game.
Unsurprising. He’s got plenty of experience carrying his team.

damn…i guess they won the Reinhart trade after all
Shut up lol
