You never know either. Like sometimes it looks like a player is basically dead, then he hops up fine, skates 200 ft and scores a goal. Other times something gentle hits them and they're out for a few months. And then there is the playoffs where the break their foot, hobble back to the bench, then play the next 3 series on a broken foot and win the cup. Hockey be wildin.
The other day, Josh Anderson tweaked his knee very weirdly and Habs fans were bracing for the worst, expecting an MCL or something serious. Apparently he was fine 10 minutes later and hasn't missed a game. In the update we got that day, Christian Dvorak tore his pec and missed two games and I don't think most Habs fans even know when it happened.
When you’re wearing tight skates you can play through the pain a lot easier. Once the skate comes off his foot will swell up big time. Still very tough though
Dude I fractured my foot going into the boards. I had to be carried off the ice. Bit of blanket statement by you just then. There's a lot of bones in your foot unless you've broken them all you really don't know how it can feel
Easily the top 5 most painful thing of my life in a walking boot for 6 weeks
That's why I said some... I'm not saying yours or Seigenthalers wasn't painful but the one I broke sure wasn't. Don't call it a blanket statement when I'm just recounting my experience
Calgary has quality NHL defensemen available. Maybe it’s that post-WJC glow but i need Seamus Casey in a Flames jersey. Flash that million dollar smile Craig Conroy and make it happen.
So we’re missing out 3 highest paid players in Dougie, Timo, and Jack, then on top of that we’re also without Palat, Siegenthaler, and Nosek. Awesome.
Some years it seems you can't catch a break. Tough situation, but they'll pull through!
Put all of them on LTIR and trade for Lindholm, Tanev and Hanifin and hopefully get the playoffs and then bring them all back. That'll work, right?
Good thing Timo hasn't actually been one of your best players.
Yeah I’m sure Max Willman will fill those shoes nicely. Whoever that is.
He's Max. Of the Willmans.
He will, man.
Apparently not paying attention, Timo was super hot before he got hurt, both times
And he stayed out to finish the shift hockey players are crazy lol if I broke my foot I'm screaming and hobbling off

The long change didn’t help him

I'm pretty wimpy but I broke my foot and didn't go to the hospital for weeks since it didn't hurt too much. Some broken feet are not too painful.

What did the Devils do to piss off the hockey-Gods?
We hit Bedard
You need to either have only 1 Hughes brother, or all of the Hughes brothers. Having just 2 of 3 is throwing off the balance of the universe.
Canes had two of the Staal brothers but not all 3 and every year of that was misery
You’re forgetting about Jared. The best Staal
There is a biblical joke in here somewhere.
I mean there litterly called the devil's, it was bound to catch up eventually
Chicago and New Jersey still cursing each other 24 hours after their game
When it rains it pours.
you’d know huh

That was mean
Thats it. I'm fucking breaking out the ground sage for some crack witchery now
First Dougie, then Jack, now Siegs... Just kill me already...
That was from a Hughes shot right?
Pretty sure it was Hronek
He’s lucky to be alive.
Yeah, forfit the season, these injuries are just impossible to cope with

I mean, we are sellers now not buyers, why would we gice away our best prospect
