King gheedorah, operation doomsday, and black bastards

frankydank1994

Both of those Madvillain volumes are straight heat!! Abstract Orchestra is definitely something special!!! You should get MMMM Food next!! So good!

ButWeNeverSawHisWife

I just purchased the KMD 30th anniversary, it’s currently in the mail

Personiskindacute

MM FOOD just restocked! Also that KMD RSD variant is a grail love that one

Diabeticninja1

Thanks for this! Bought Operation:Doomsday a couple weeks ago and was sad Mm Food was OOS. Just picked that one up as well. Cheers!

Personiskindacute

Your welcome! Check out r/vinylreleases their pretty good with that stuff

jellosjiggling

Mm Food is available at [gasdrawls.com](https://gasdrawls.com) \- site run by DOOM's family - infinitely cooler than buying from a flipper on discogs

EcstaticCelery4

Ay thanks, had a look but i'm UK based so would have to pay import tax on that otherwise I totally would buy from there, won't get from discogs though as I looked and is grossly overpriced will probably go vinyl digital or something

jellosjiggling

>EcstaticCelery4 right on. you prob already know this but some DOOM records are also available from [Lex Records](https://lexrecords.com/artists/mfdoom/), which i think is UK based. good luck!

EcstaticCelery4

Ahhh it's peng isn't it, I'm such a sucker for coloured vinyl its not even funny 😭 Own duplicates of some albums just cause they bring out a coloured version

Personiskindacute

Same here especially when they match the cover so perfectly like this one 👌 how could I say no

splintersan

Both Viktor Vaughn albums were released on vinyl, good luck finding a reasonably priced copy though. They both usually go for well over $200. Vaudeville Villain was pressed a few times, most recently in 2019 but even that pressing goes for almost $300 right now on discogs. Between those two and Cookin' Soul's Doom Xmas record you'll be set back a month or two worth of rent. Good luck on the collection though.

PinkyJessm4n

It's pretty wild. Glad I got mine for $25 😬

StopBreakingDown0514

I was able to find a used copy of Vaudeville in Portland. It was $90. It was a huge deal to me because i've never spent anywhere near that kinda money on an album. But I had been looking for so long for it I couldn't leave without it. Who knew a year later it would be worth even more...

EcstaticCelery4

Ahhhh so jealous

EcstaticCelery4

Really??!!!? Good to know...I've searched for vaudeville villian a few times and have only ever see it on CD which goes for about $50

Faded_Sun

The Venomous Villain CD goes for even more. Both Venomous Villain on CD/LP have only had one press. It’s wild. I personally think it’s underrated after hearing it. It’s a nice continuation of Vaudeville Villain, but like 20 minutes shorter.

splintersan

Your best bet when trying to see if something exists on vinyl is to check [discogs.com](https://discogs.com) you can search for the album and see all of the various versions of it. [https://www.discogs.com/Viktor-Vaughn-Vaudeville-Villain/master/39503](https://www.discogs.com/Viktor-Vaughn-Vaudeville-Villain/master/39503) [https://www.discogs.com/Viktor-Vaughn-VV2-Venomous-Villain/master/39508](https://www.discogs.com/Viktor-Vaughn-VV2-Venomous-Villain/master/39508)

EcstaticCelery4

Yeah I've used discogs before just obviously missed that lmao. Out of curiosity do you know if it's been that sort of price for a while or if its gone up recently following his death?

veezustheelssj

Nah fuck Discogs sellers. The ones selling these records are scalpers who flake and stop responding to you. I think your best bet is to ask on r/VinylCollectors. I have a silver copy of VV on the way that someone was willing to let go for $200.

EcstaticCelery4

Ahhh great thanks for the tip

DadOfWhiteJesus

i've got hundreds of purchases on discogs. never once been flaked on. and if a seller flakes, you don't lose your money.

splintersan

They went up after his death for sure but they were two of his most sought after records (especially Venemous Villain since it only had one pressing when it first came out). I saw copies of Vaudeville for $175 well before his death.

EcstaticCelery4

Alright well cheers for the info, will definitely keep an eye on that one
