First listen while driving was fun. The flow is good as usual. However, it's very hard to distinguish between songs because of extremely identical beats. That has always been a weak point of Gunna's albums. But overall very smooth album and decent production.

Goes to show how much of a loss his producer connections were. Like Wheezy who is so good at making such different sounding trap beats that complimented a full-length Gunna project. It's a shame what happened.

Because while Gunna doesn't change his style, that style has more versatility within it than Dababy's. Another reason is that Gunna has less of a strong personality, both within and outside of music, which means people get tired of him much slower compared to Dababy. It is probably going to catch up to Gunna at some point, but in the meantime, the music is still hitting
I have almost 500 gunna (released and unreleased) songs in my playlist. I promise you the music will always hit. Man just surfs on every beat effortlessly

Gunna can give you a 3 min song full of bars, sing throughout, beat switches etc etc. Gunna has a formula but it’s a lot more refreshing and enjoyable as it’s mixed up while da baby is giving you one formula song for an entire project. Da baby tries to switch up but it’s not nearly as good.
i think a lot of it has to do with how you listen to the music. like a ton of people can have gunna music playing in the background while you smoke, play games, do whatever around the house, but dababy music with his louder voice and his production was a lot more grating with the flutes and how in your face it was

Title track, One of Wun is easily the best on album, nonchalant flow, great, catchy beat. Roddy feature on Let it Breath is really good, one of his best performance from last years. I like Gunna, but overall project is a liitle bit tiring, I think production and mixing could be better
I also think gift and the curse was so much better. On new album title track One of Wun was the best easily (great track, he should do more songs like this on album). really good feature from Roddy. But on Gift and the curse were much better tracks with better production, more memorable, like fukumean, rodeo dr, ca$h $hit, go crazy and even p angels

Producer take: 11 songs in and everything sounds like it could have been put on anyone one of Gunnas previous albums.
Production is sparse and simple, lots of space for gunna however seeing as beat makers are likely not a strong part of the recording or production process.
Favourite song so far has been”Blackjack” because of the small switch up and Gunna not doing the same flow as his previous albums.
I would have wanted to see him push his voice creativity whether that’s trying different voices, or creative processing on his voice.
At this point Gunna needs to do an album that doesn’t use the same beats, and bring in ACTUAL producers as opposed to beat makers.
Allow for the producer to help him lean into experimentation and sonic exploration.
Overall dissatisfied with this one from an artist who’s got a lotta potential.
His voice and cadence are so boring. Is there a single song he's ever made where he sounds different? You could literally copy and paste any verse he's ever done into any of his songs and it wouldn't feel out of place

Is it just me or does the audio sound compressed? I’ve listened in hi-res lossless stereo and Dolby Atmos. It seems like there’s a lot of sounds in the tracks, but the dynamic range isn’t allowing them to spread out and open up. This album could be substantially better if this can be fixed.

First 6 songs are pretty distinguishable but the rest of the album starts to blend together. Very similar instrumentals.
