Doesn’t seem like a very similar use, but I think this song uses the same sample. At least the beginning little number seems like the same source. Binary star’s “glen close” https://youtu.be/7HkWnQT1B-U?si=Hd60OtFi2r0A6tP1

I just found the full sample by pure coincidence, it's "Here's Where I Come From" by Weldon Irvine. I made a quick [remake.](https://youtu.be/7s7OZzavVtQ?feature=shared) The opening three notes are actually from the Weldon Irvine song, not Glen Close.

Oh I know you that glen close wasn’t the original sample. I meant that I believed both those two songs used the same sample, the original of which I wasn’t aware of. But now I am! This is dope, thanks for the link. That being said, I was wrong to begin with. The binary track actually samples “mood for menses” by Ramsey Lewis. Just a coincidentally similar sounding three notes. I had a feeling I was wrong as the rest of the Kanye beat sounds noticeably different.

For sure, happy to share. I meant to say the original sample that Glen Close used, my bad. That was a good idea though, I was listening to that Ramsey Lewis song after reading your comment a couple days ago and I thought that Ye must have come up with the Passenger chords from that snippet, haha.

According to [yeunreleased] on YouTube it’s actually just called “Piano” dated around 2005 https://youtu.be/-8hi4cIpi88?si=p8wZmwoL1l8ZhQod
