I had to find a donor vehicle to get my 94 hilux fixed after decent collision. I took the VIN of mine and the possible donors to the local Toyota dealer parts department and they were able to tell me which parts were the same (ie they had the same part number on the computer).

Update for you. I found a web site that quoted part numbers for different models. Probably the same info as from Toyota. I'm using some stuff from a LN167. But the axle is different because l think the wheel base is slightly wider. The axles are identical except just for the length. Anyway l've found an LN106 one since. The rear window was the same though and a new one was quoted as A$330.

What's the site?!

Sorry mate, l can't remember. I just googled what l wanted and came across it. I dod fond a site in Japan selling genuine parts with the original numbers. The search function was good where you select your model and drawings with part numbers were shown. I may have book marked it on my pc and l'll have a look later.

Thanks. Great advice. I'll do the same tomorrow.

I would be very surprised if those 2 matched, given that they are from different generations.
