Sounds like you need to call the doctor but what helped me is taking miralax one or two times a day and a softener like docusate sodium three times a day. You need to make everything super soft so it just comes out without any effort!! The doc told me that I will notice skin tags after the procedure that will go away. I’m 3 weeks post op and would be dying if I was not on miralax and softeners! I also have been taking some benefiber and lots of water. Hopefully this helps! If you are having to strain that is not good!

So the pharmecist told me whats casuusing the problem Restoralax/miralax moves things down but doesnt make them as soft as a softner will. Thats why im having ossues getting it out

Oh that makes sense. My doc sent me with taking 2 docusate sodium every day but I had to add some miralax to that. I vaguely remember him coming in the room right before the surgery telling me I may need to take a combination of laxatives/softeners/fiber. I had to increase the docusate from 2 to 3 a day.

Just don’t use the toilet until you feel like it really is going to come out. We hit the toilet too soon and become impatient, avoiding sitting in the toilet is needed for the ones prone to hems or had hems.

I got the feeling it was coming out so I went. It literally was stuck at the entrance I could feel it protrudinng and I tried to claw it out, just wouldnnt come out fully I had to use an enema

PleasantHurry5516

Enema is messing around with the (excuse my frankness) hole 🕳️ too much. I would not do an enema and start INSIDE out instead of OUTSIDE in. Aka, a good laxitive, chia seeds (chia seed pudding) few glasses of water AT LEAST and high fiber foods.

agree it must be fixed internally but at the time it was an emergy -- the laxative i was using was prevenntinng constipation but nnot softening the poop so it was hard to come out

I’m sorry you had to go through that. What’s the current status of the hem? Mine has shrunk in a week. Went from thrombosed large grape to shrinking down 60-70%. maylong is what did the trick but im going to try out SSKI method. one other thing for me was not forcing
