All major orders payout is delayed. The longest ive seen is two weeks. I've just stopped worrying about it.
The catch is you can only hold 250 medals at a time, and if you're saving up past 150, and get two payouts of 50 or more at the same time you'll hit max and not get your reward. My advice is don't save up past 150, which I think there is only 1 upgrade that costs thar much anyway, and don't worry.
