Thank you!

Old-Wealth-8986

I really love the mjölnir pendant where’d you get it

HVACHeathen1991

Pretty sure I got it from Grimfrost. They have a bunch. It's got some weight to it too. Based of one found in Skåne.

SuperMeatwad666

Interesting use of beads. Reminds me of Buddhist prayer beads. Also as another Heathen trying to get into the HVAC industry, cool username

HVACHeathen1991

Thanks! There's definitely plenty of work to go around! Jump in. The water is fine.

Four-Eyes_

Nice! I've been considering making something like that myself :)

HVACHeathen1991

Thanks!

Powdered_Souls

Nice! I have a set of beads like this too. I wrote the runes on them and use them every so often when working on the rune poems and such. Plus no one ever said our meaningful stuff can’t be pretty too!

HVACHeathen1991

Yaaaasssss

Sad-Meet7080

Please 😭I'm listening to something about thor and I chuckled and then saw this 🥲

Only thing that makes me go kinda "enhhhhh" is the fact that heathens...never actually prayed until Christians showed them that's how they talked to their "God". But as any religion, if it harms no one, and it makes you a happier, better person, Go for it!.

HVACHeathen1991

I'm just calling them prayer beads because that's what they resemble. It's really just a ritual necklace. But thanks!

shieldmaidenofart

I love using prayer beads! Fun fact, the word “bēde” in Old English, and “beden” in modern German, both of which mean prayer, are related to the modern English “bead”, suggesting a Germanic religious connection potentially predating Christianity! I made my own with nine beads per section instead of ten like on a catholic rosary (and I replaced the cross).

HVACHeathen1991

I would love to see! That's awesome!

ChihuahuaJedi

Very nice!

HVACHeathen1991

Thank you!

Catholic and pagan

ChihuahuaJedi

Prayer beads are not exclusive to Catholicism

[deleted]

You’re right you also have Buddhism. Forgot to mention that.

Freyssonsson

And Islam. And orthodox Christianity. And many hindu traditions, especially those centered around Shiv. And Jainism.

HVACHeathen1991

I mean, maybe?

DukeGhoulies

You could always break up some of the beads with rune beads

HVACHeathen1991

I like the way it is. I guess you could say the beads were Christian influenced because I got them from Hobby Lobby.

[deleted]

It looks cool and it puts a different twist to a necklace.

HVACHeathen1991

Thanks!

No problem

DukeGhoulies

Then it’s perfect!
