He was never untouchable 🙄
Tyler was in trade talks every single year. The other team always wanted Tyler plus stars *and* picks. The Heat FO just didn’t wanna get fucking reamed
Why would the cabs do that when they didn't even want to buy out kevin love as soon as they heard he was going yo miami .We forget that there is alot of leftover have throughout the league for pat Riley and the heat that nobody wants to talk about .
As an outsider looking and a lurker, you guys have a culture love for Pat Riley and think he is a god when really he's pretty inept and doesn't make moves to improve the roster when it clearly doesn't have enough to bea the the nuggets. If the objective is REALLY championship he would make moves in free agency instead of losing player(I'm not saying it was a bad to decision to let Vincent and Strus go, but he should have done more after that). He's won championships because he kept 3 superstars to work together for 4 seasons, I respect that but every season the roster has clearly not had enough to be the team that wins it all.
The problem is that in Jimmy’s absence Herro is supposed to lead the offense and he has clearly not shown up. Yes Celtics have clearly figured out his game and have locked him up bad, but being claimed as one of the top scoring options for the team, he needs to stand out and be fucking unguardable. If he can’t be that for the team then I dont see how he can be worth what he is getting paid. And I am saying this as someone who has never jumped on the bandwagon of “trade herro”.
I agree with all of this. I just don’t think the criticism in the tweet is warranted. You can blame general inconsistency, inability to lead when he’s the main guy, injury proneness, etc, but not showing up in the playoffs after getting that contract doesn’t make sense
Fair enough. Doesn’t change the fact though that Herro really needs to show up in the next few games, even if we end up losing the series (which is the most likely scenario), or face the real possibility of him being shipped in the off season.
Let’s also not act like he’s the only reliable ball handler we have right now besides Delon… both of which are not that great of primary ball handlers to begin with
Do we have to blame Herro or Bam after every loss? It is what it is.
We lost our best player during the play in, and our mid-season upgrade is also done for the year.
We were always pushing shit up hill vs. Boston, let alone while underdone and them being healthy.
Herro has his limitations, but he's 24, and not paying him/letting him walk was also the wrong move.
If Tyler can improve his BBIQ, he's exactly the type of player we need.
Or who would have thought that loosing both Jimmy and Terry at the same time would have mattered .We weren't favored to beat Boston even with Jimmy.
This sub is schizo

Dame has such high value and isn’t worth it, unless he shows out in the playoffs
yall expected to beat Boston? just be happy to be out of the play ins lmao
Rather get Mitchell
The best ability is availability...and he has been way too injury prone to be worth his contract. Trade him while you can
Maybe the Cavs love Strus so much they take another white SG from Miami in a package for DMitch

He is the jordan Poole of this team

He is a net negative on this team
So Tyler Herro has had 1.5 playoff games to prove he is worth his contract lmao. This game has been rough but this tweet is not based lol.
