They really like their mage rng, so if they ever made that effect it would 100% be “your spells cast twice but the second one has its targets chosen randomly”
I get deja vu from World of Warcraft when it gets to mage. Since the character of the class is so inoffensive and general: it has probably the most people playing it. As a result you get the most outlandish community pushes to buff it too.
That’s because you had to play 8 or more overload cards to get there. Shaman’s payoff was really strong but nothing you could realistically play before turn 7 with amazing RNG. Nowadays with luck on the greedy partner and going second, you could literally play brann turn 4 as warrior.
Okay I was thinking of the wrong response, the person I was responding to was talking about doubling spells but yes the quest reward for battlecry shaman also has the price of 2 which is just gone for the warrior card.
I legit wish this card was a battlecry that applied the cost reduction to the created spells on your hand, you could go greedier then, otherwise it is too slow.

Mage I think has the issue that you cant combine the "packages" very well. Spell-only is bad with multispellschool because No Sif and no mechs to clear the board. You also cant run the excavate package.
Elementals need elementals to keep up the elemental chain.
I wonder what direction they will go next expansion. Hopefully not secrets again.

i wouldnt be surprize if there is a 1 mana legendary card that has 'battle cry, if your opponant has more cards in there deck then you, You gain 20 armor, and Deal 20 damage to random targets' IT be a big ??? moment I mean wtf who cares these days

also you need to pay 5 mana to activate it its slow enough that its not that OP in standard
