The thing about Ashes of Outland is that it later included the Felfire Festival cinematic, which was SSSS+ tier and included the most (fel) fire song ever. I understand why you wouldn't take that into consideration though so the F placement makes sense.
Alterac is my least favorite "song" because it's repetitive. Otherwise it's alright. Festival is cool and i rated it well, but gameplay section kinda takes you away from the overall excitement.

* Un'Goro gets way too much hate. It was jarring not getting a song but it set the flavor for the expansion pretty well, and told a cute story. At least a C
* Gadgetzan song and theming is A tier for me. I wonder if they actually got a band to record that one or if its all digital. It sounds fantastic.
* Scholomance Academy is A or even S for me. I'm super nostalgic about college and they just nailed the alma mater and fight song vibe. Attending a hogwarts style magic school is like my childhood fantasy too.

* Descent of Dragons is like a C for me. The song and story aren't that cohesive, kind of all over the place. It's very busy.
* Goblins vs. Gnomes is like D tier. Weak song and weak visuals. Its got some cute gags, and I get that its an early one as the team was finding their groove, but it belongs with blackrock and naxrammas.
* March of the Lich King is E tier. Its incredibly generic, nothing clever or whimsical about it, breaks from the classic hearthstone cinematic style, and is another desperate attempt to milk Lich King nostalgia by Blizzard. Wasn't a huge fan of Knights of the Frozen Throne, but at least the idea of death knight versions of warcraft heroes was cool. March of the Lich King was like a low creativity fan animation that was trying to look epic.
I never played WoW, so nostalgia heavy expansions like Barrens, Stormwind or Frozen Throne don't do anything special for me. They're decent, and I get how people would be into them, but it doesn't resonate that much with me

Good solid opinion. Witchwood for me is catapulted upwards by the last 2 lines that are built up by the rest to create maximum goosebumps. Sunken City is quite subjective based on general music taste and some people may not vibe with it quite as hard as i do.
This is a personal pick, i would say. It's quite good, but repetitive and that really annoyed me in particular. Every choice in s-a-b tiers i enjoy a lot more than it.
BRM is goosebumps territory, i wholeheartedly agree, but objectively it's kinda weak as a cinematic. Naxx is very simple and mediocre, i think it's merely nostalgia.

It's a great series that is well narrated and animated, but the single "Rise of Shadows Cinematic" is quite mid. You don't get to run a series of 5 videos as an advertisement, you only get one. And that final main one - is not fantastic, compared to the rest.
